So I finally managed to watch Poldark with a little help from some teens with skillz. I thought it was great! Shortie pants or no, AT is both very handsome and a good actor, and if the character chooses to vent his frustration busting rocks and getting sweaty with his shirt off, I think that is fully historically justified and I'm happy to watch. The new blonde woman with the dog bugged me immeasurably.

Snort about Cillian Cabrera and the phantom wife Madame and MLG. I was surprised but I quite like Cillian as a name perhaps just because of C Murphy. I thought it would be one of those names like Samuel which works in different languages.

Cross about bad Paralympics coverage and regressive seeming thinking.

Also saw on twatter that Tom is in a play on Radio 3 on October 9th! Not sure about the time. Not sure if I can listen to it on Iplayer?!?!?

Evening wenches. I have no car until Monday because it's a hole in it and it's leaking oil. I'm scared I might have damaged it. I can't get home without a car but thankfully I got a ride home with mum whom I spent the day with at IKEA. I had some retail therapy there and bought cat curtains and some other stuff.

Am watching a bit of the Paralympic Opening Ceremony build up - they showed Jonnie Peacock winning in 2012, I was there with DS & it was a fab night & they also talked about David Weir & Dan Greaves who also won medals that night. Apparently the athletics won't be on so late as in the Olympics, so I'm hoping to see some of it live. Can't wait for Ellie Simmonds in the swimming, she's so exciting to watch
