Our beautiful leather clad lovelies have hung up their pauldrons, wrapped their thighs around their wenches horses and rode hard for the border. There'll be no more snogging in cupboards, or noshing on the Queen...s awful cooking. But we're not sad...oh no, we can keep this nonsense going ad infinitum, and there's plenty to look forward to as the Swaggerers stagger on in post muskie oblivion.

So keep the Cardinals finger flowing, and help yourself to the complementary Hot Chilean Nuts.

Now....S1 Ep1 anyone??

Madame...omg I couldn't cope with that! 😳 Could you just sort of down and wipe?
NB: as stated before I know nothing about pets.

MadamedeChevreuse · 05/09/2016 17:32

Oh crap morelike. Sad Stick to your guns - I guess with time he will hopefully accept / work out what is realistic and get his head around it...

Lol at cillian / chilean! That is so funny. Surely not a coincidence?

When / from whom did we hear it was santos??? Is that even a name???

Badders123 · 05/09/2016 17:45

I got a really weird mental image then from santos
Then I realised I was thinking of mentos
😳😁🙄

FancyFancy · 05/09/2016 17:58

badders

Commiserations re TB morelike, sounds difficult. Does he realise 50:50 means what it says? Equal responsibility for dealing with school/doctor/dentist/au pair/birthdays/parties/clubs & activities/dealing with illness/clothes & laundry/homework? Mind not be so quite so keen to know he has to step up & deal with all this & not leave you to do it all in the half a week you'd get with them.

Erm not sure madame - sometimes get it with FancyCat as she has a very floofy rear end, but never with short-haired ScaredyCat. I tackle it with stealth & wet wipes & rubber gloves (and a stiff drink afterwards). Is it because his rear end is a bit squitty?

FancyFancy · 05/09/2016 18:00

Please excuse the crappness of the above post may not be quite so keen when he knows he has to.... obv

MadamedeChevreuse · 05/09/2016 18:33

I think he is a bit squitty yes fancy Sad

Badders123 · 05/09/2016 18:39

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/09/2016 19:03

I have a huge pile of half read books to LetusConfused

Good luck tomorrow Madame StarFlowers

I'm stressed out after having to give Sigrid a pill twice a day Confused I need Wine

anneyaramis · 05/09/2016 20:07

Since my laptop is the only thing left logged into MN I am able to temporarily post :-)

From what I gather, Helen and Elk have seen Deep Blue Sea (NT is just the most fab place on the earth ever other than a beach or similar). I like HelenMc but just cannot afford either the time or money for another NT visit - actually doesn't it close this week or next week. I can't remember.

We're reading something that is going to be televised and we feel confident Tom will be cast in.

Some Burketeers met Santi (filming TF Stonehenge and surrounding areas).

Santi gives son shit name.

Poldark was ace. Looking forward to next week, agree with LetUs, how did she not just go 'phwoar'!!!

I liked Victoria, Coleman was really good and Rufus Sewell made me constantly 'phwoar'. In fact when DH laughed that she proposed I may have said 'er, yeah, hot.' CGI truly shite though.

Have a billion things on with boys (not yet back at school), uni reading kicking in, work (although on leave), general reading (masses of stuff about France at the moment), Twitter which I am trying to be better at from a minor academic perspective, SIL getting married in November which is just one long line of having to go shopping and minimise sparkles in my life although talking of sparkles - Strictly line up looks awesome.

Over and out wenches.

ApricotCrush · 05/09/2016 20:19

ANNE! Lovely to see you here, you sound very busy.

I quite liked Victoria, although haven't seen last night's yet, due to sleeping through watching Poldark.

I'm always a bit meh about Strictly, but it grows on me as it gets going.

Send Patty over here Madame I'll sort him out. It doesn't bother me. We had a rabbit who sometimes used to get in a mess and I had to bath her rear end to clean her up. DD's cat once had diarrhoea in the night when she was staying with us and I had to deal with that next day.

Hope the acupuncture works for you and good luck for tomorrow.

anneyaramis · 05/09/2016 20:24

Apes, I can't MN from my phone, which is how I normally do it because I have forgotten not just my password, but the email address I registered with so it only works on my laptop which is my work laptop which I only have at home because I am on leave. It is a firstworld problem nightmare.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 05/09/2016 20:29

Hi Anne Smile What or who is CGI?

ApricotCrush · 05/09/2016 20:31

Oh that's a pain. You could re-register but then you'd lose your name. Confused

ApricotCrush · 05/09/2016 20:41

Computer generated imagery WW. They created the London skyline in Victoria which was rather crap. Also used for the views over 'Paris' in TM.

anneyaramis · 05/09/2016 20:44

But it looked ok in TM, because I hadn't noticed.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/09/2016 20:52

The TM Paris CGI skyline was Hmm too imo. (But then I also noticed thing like 'that's not the first take because you can see where four horses have already ridden through the grass once' #FussyMadam)

Madame - what Fancy said re. strealth and rubber gloves? Confused I clead up vat vom from teh carpet this morning. Elk what model of blowtorch vax do you have for dealing with such incidents?

Anne! hello - can't you just change your password from your work laptop so then you can log in from your phone as well?

Isn't 'Santos' Santi's character's name in Transformers? Or do I have the wrong end of the stick? (probably)

MoreLike one of my friends sorted out her TB by moving out - she realised that by staying in the house and asking him to move out, she was giving him too much power over the situation to faff about and not leave (and she also could not exclude him from the house since they both owned it), so she just up and left - moved into a rented house (with sprogs) and they do manage 50/50 very well now. No idea if that helps on any way Hmm

Laters....

FancyFancy · 05/09/2016 21:00

Yay anne Grin That all sounds exhausting

Wine ww, you need it Grin

If the rear end situation is ongoing madame I would look at changing his food maybe? Some cats have more sensitive stomachs than others & the erm, end result, can be less than pleasant

MadamedeChevreuse · 05/09/2016 22:11

Hello anne! You must bring your work laptop home more often Grin

Thanks all for the good luck wishes and cat advice Ilya xxx

Im off to start Strike 3 get an early night.

LetUsPrey · 05/09/2016 22:31

Anne! Hope you get some time to yourself in amongst all that activity!

Good luck tomorrow Madame.

Err.. can't remember anything else Blush. Was very hot at exerciseclass tonight and I think my brain melted.

I really want to start the third book tonight but I won't then go to bed for ages so it's hayloft time for me. I'm already sweaty so I may as well get even sweatier Grin

Night wenches

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 05/09/2016 22:46

I have finished work, so I ought to get to bed before 11pm, and make my sarnies for tomorrow.

FancyFancy · 05/09/2016 23:01

Bath & then Vuelta for me. Mmmmm.....thighs Grin

MLGs · 05/09/2016 23:14

Come to think of it, I think Santos was meant to be the character in transformers, not the baby.

MLGs · 05/09/2016 23:16

I see Helen has just pointed that out above! I knew it came into something, somewhere....

Fancy - I'm not sure he does appreciate that at all... Today he wants to get back together so, you know, that should sort everything out.

Helen - that is exactly what I've been thinking re moving out, but would rather get him to buy me out soonish than rent somewhere and then have to buy later on. But I suppose it is an option, and frankly this is getting silly.

MLGs · 05/09/2016 23:20

For some reason I kept thinking the baby was a girl anyway, so keep being surprised by the whole thing.

(And remember I don't believe in the wife anyway, so not sure where this child has come from)

Anne - I meant to tell you ages ago how 1984 was, and it was amazing, brilliant, genius, chilling and thought-provoking in no particular order. And quite original in that it used the appendix to the book that deals with newspeak as it's starting point, and a "theme" for the play. The actors were excellent too.
