I've only been on mn for a few months - August I think it was. Who else is a newbie? It's hard to tell from posts who is new and who is 'old'! Also, do any other newbies find

2 your threads fall off the active convos at an alarming rate

3 you spend ages thinking of something incredibly witty to say and no-one notices?

Hi, I would like to join, as I can answer a big fat yes to all three questions. Think I joined in the spring some time, can't quite remember. But still feel a newbie.

I got my bt internet in this time last year and it was in the little booklet but was lurking for months before I posted, under several different names, then I sat back, tried to suss out what went on etc. but gave up changed to mellowma and jumped right in.

Can't remember when I joined but it's in the last year. Have been checking it out every day recently - completely hooked. Thanks midgetgemgem, I am really looking forward to Christmas this year last year was a bt of a blur as DD was only a couple of months old so this year will be SO much more fun! I am very lax on the shopping front the only presents I've bought are DD's! But I have done and posted all the cards so a tiny bit of redeeming myself!

What about the rest of the newbies anything special planned or any suggestions for festive things I can do that will entertain a 13 month old? How I would love to take her to a panto but her attention span just wouldn't allow it!
