I'm working and I can't be bothered any more. 1/3 of 'quick easy' project (yeah, right) done.

Night all.

FancyFancy · 28/10/2015 22:42

You and me both sparks. That is a very intense look of serious hotness.

Night helen

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 28/10/2015 23:44

Fancy, go on your own to see it. Just do.

FancyFancy · 28/10/2015 23:57

Just checking out my local cinemas now sparks Grin

LetUsPrey · 29/10/2015 00:09

Night wenches

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 29/10/2015 07:06

Morning all. How have we not taken over THIS THREAD?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 29/10/2015 07:11

In other news we have finally booked a terrifyingly expensive holiday to go to overseas family wedding. Which has meant many late nights of looking at flights and much anguish as DH wrestles with conflicting desires for cheap flight / seats that will not cut off blood circulation. I gave up last night and just booked the sodding thing, much to his relief. DH is not good with Decisions.

I have no idea what we're doing today. I want to ship DS off somewhere so I can go back to bed get some work done. At least the weather looks decent today. I could do washing! Yay! Hmm

Badders123 · 29/10/2015 07:35

Ds hospital appt today - his last with his lovely paed. I Amy cry, wenches. I have a card and wine...hope that's ok
Still feeling quite bluergh tbh. No idea what the hell is wrong with me so am ignoring it :)
Dh has told me we are doing "the monthly accounts" tomorrow.
You will be able to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from where you are, I assure you :)
Busy weekend ahead too...usual crap to do, taking ds1 to cinema, out for lunch lunch Dh and clients on Sunday then church with mum Sunday evening.
Am hoping next week is a little less fraught it won't be

ElkforLeather · 29/10/2015 07:58

Morning, excellent thread link Helen. Much food for thought on there. Not that it is required of course....I am entirely one track in my delusional fantasies

ElkforLeather · 29/10/2015 08:04

Oh bloody hell, I promised the small Elks a big day out in grimnortherncity today. This will involve taking a pushchair on and off various forms of public transport, buying them expensive food they will shred and deposit on the floor but won't actually eat, watching them both disappear in opposite directions and having to make a snap decision about which one I love most, and culminating in a massive tantrum and being sent to bed early without a story but at least I'll be back in bed

Don't you love half term

Right!...must rouse myself

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 08:08

Apart from when you get side-tracked by another flirty, norty, beardy fucker, eh Elk?

LetUsPrey · 29/10/2015 08:34

Morning wenches. Thanks for tucking me in Helen Grin

Meant to say Badderz good luck with job at school.

Enjoy your days wenches. I am back at work today. Apparently things have been Not Good and have almost Kicked Off. Such fun.

Morning wenches. Nice pic letus - the colour version of one of my favourite gifs, lovely.

Thank you for beating me to the distracted elk comment cinn Grin

I will check out that link later helen, need to get in the shower now.

Good luck at the docs badders

FancyFancy · 29/10/2015 08:59

Oh, nearly forgot

Lyndie · 29/10/2015 09:42

Morning all.

That's a nice fireplace Aramis is leaning on.

Hope Elkys day out in theplaceIthinkshesgoingto is fun and not stressful. And good work for going in the first place, it's too easy to stay in when it's grim and not bother going out.

Wet and soggy here too, first proper walk to school in boots today.

I'm taking DD2 shoe shopping today so that will be fun said me never

Hope all wenches have fun whatever they're doing. Smile

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 10:19

I'm off into bigcity to look for (a) Christmas shopping and (b) a dress for Elkonbury. I fully expect to come home (a) flat broke and (b) depressed as fuck

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/10/2015 10:30

There's a fireplace? I can't get past the filth.

Helen, thanks for the link. I have represented Team A.

Today I am training DS2 to become my paid cleaner. I have binned the proper ones & he wants a job so I'm paying him what I paid them. And now he just has to learn how to do it.

Pray for me, wenches.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 29/10/2015 11:01

Cinn what was wrong with the dress you already showed us? Not that you can't shop for another dress anyway...

Badders123 · 29/10/2015 12:05

Grin at elks "figure out which one I love most" :) God, it's so like that sometimes!
Well. I cried at the hospital. Dr was very pleased with his malbec and told ds1 he would drink it at lunchtime :) he is such a lovely man :( he has discharged ds- but said that if his asthma really flares up again he will see him at his new hospital (which is about 40 miles away!)
He has even given ds1 his e mail address.

I will miss him.
Took ds for brunch before taking him back to school. I think when they get older it's nice to have 1-1 time. Ds2 can be...er...quite demanding if my time if it's just me and the 2 of them.
Just about to start the ironing....oh joy.
I hope the medical people in the tavern know how much they are appreciated by their patients

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 12:26

Dunt fit, Helen #fatty.

However, I have Found A Dress. For more than I can afford, but it is suitable for workwear and also tarting up.

MadamedeChevreuse · 29/10/2015 12:34

Hello wenches.

helen thanks for my pic! and lyndie yes, that is a lovely fireplace to lean on. Wink

Hope all wenches are coping ok with half term childcare / back to work / hosp appointment hell. to all in need.

I am going to try and get tix to see Bond with dp tonight after work

That ^ pic of daniel craig ... is there something weird about the tan line around his nips, or is it just me? Was he wearing some kind of nip / pec protecting mankini top on the sunbed? Confused Might need to just have another look to check...

Those mn threads about blokes...love the way they come up in different forms every so often. Tbh it is always the usual suspects isnt it...cumberbunch, tom hardy, people who I presume are from Strictly...

I feel a bit sad for them actually - I mean they could be here, perving over HBFs all the time... Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 29/10/2015 12:40

Oh and my mum thinks daniel craig is a terrible Bond. "No charisma, unlike timothy thingybob and pierce brosnan."

Badders123 · 29/10/2015 12:42

My aunt used to babysit for pierce brosnan when he was a child in Ireland.
She still calls him "little pierce"

MadamedeChevreuse · 29/10/2015 12:52

Bahahaha badders!

helen you put that thread in your Wordleometer and searched "tom burke*, didnt you... Grin

Lyndie · 29/10/2015 13:15

I'm guessing that if you actually have pecs like Daniel Craig then the sun isn't going to get under them to tan them much? Or if the tan is fake those are the bits it rubs off really easily.

Any joy with the shopping Cinn? I just bought a nice black long sleeved dress from M&S, definitely could do for work, weekends with boots/scarf or tarted up with jewellery and heels for going out.

I'm not sure what I'm wearing for Elkonbury yet.

Managed to get shoes and boots for DD2 but I'm £70 worse off. Shock
