Oh sorry Cinn you've found something. Happy with it? Pics?? Smile

ElkforLeather · 29/10/2015 13:46

Yay Cinn that's good going.

We are mid Day Out. Not too bad so far, only missed two trains, but got the third with a longer run up. Have seen "PLANES" (babyelk's latest word) and trudged through pedestrian hell and am now applying pasta to them and wine and olives to me in a bid to stop the whining...it seems to be working, I've been very quiet since we sat down

Pic when I get home, Lyndie. I'm currently having lunch in greatbigshop. Many presents bought, lots of money spent

ElkforLeather · 29/10/2015 13:58

Dinner has arrived.....it's on a slate ! ShockShockShock

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 13:59

SEND IT BACK!!!!

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/10/2015 13:59
Grin

I secretly smirk every time I'm in the vicinity, Cinn.

And yes, I've signed up.

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 14:01

Secretly, Sparks? I unashamedly lolled, and took a pic of the display board in the doorway of their biggest branch

IssyStark · 29/10/2015 14:38

Work as eased off slightly, thank god.

Like madam we're also off to Spectra this afternoon. Skipping off work early (I have the TOIL to take and some) so DrIssy and myself are accompanying ds1 to his first Bond in the cinema Grin I am far too excited!

DS1 will be 9 in Dec so I'm hoping will be okay for 12A but then at lunch colleague pointed out that Casino Royale was 12a and was quite vicious in places. Oopsie. Oh well, have arranged babysitter to pick up ds2 now, so too late to back out. Hope I won't scar the child for life Hmm

IssyStark · 29/10/2015 14:48

Elk the only acceptable combination of slate and food is as a cheeseboard. I feel for you having to endure hipster dinnerware. Have some Wine to make up for it.

Obs2015 · 29/10/2015 14:48

On a slate ELK? Wink
Glad about dress Cinn. I have nothing so far.

Ds1 went to see Spectre today, on his own. They let him in, which I was pleased about. He got on the bus to the local town on his own aswell for the first time. I am DEAD jealous. Was planning on going to cinema tomorrow, but with ds1 AND ds2, so I may be forced to watch Hotel Transylvania 2. when I want to see SPECTRE Angry

Lyndie · 29/10/2015 14:50

I got my card today too!!!! Big grin thinking of our favourite Sparkle wench. Grin

Lyndie · 29/10/2015 14:58

Jealous of you all seeing Spectre.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/10/2015 14:59

Probs too late now for Issy but there's a couple of bits of Spectre in particular that make for very uncomfortable viewing & may be a bit much for an 8 y-o. Or maybe not? I cringed, anyway.

And I'm not referring to the complete frenzy of a sex scene. Ooooooffftttttttt. Not that you actually see anything graphic as per usual Bond, it's just all bit urgent

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 15:07

Arf at hipster dinnerware

FancyFancy · 29/10/2015 15:26
SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 29/10/2015 16:21

Oh well, best not go then Fancy Hmm

Badders123 · 29/10/2015 16:40

I know I'm late to this, but doesn't anyone else think the new Adele single is...well...a bit shit?
Just me?
Ok...

FancyFancy · 29/10/2015 16:43

Nah, I'll just pick a cinema I'm not likely to go back to Grin

Hope elk has held onto her sanity during her trip & that issy's DS is ok at the film, yay for cinn's shopping success and boo for the slate.

There's a fireplace in that gif lyndie? Well bugger me, first time i've noticed!

Will be interested in how you get on with your new cleaner sparks - I keep saying to mine they could have a similar arrangement, but no takers. DS is keen on taking on some of the cooking though, which would be great.

I see what you mean about that DC pic madame, he's actually looking a bit sunburnt. I have no knowlegeable answer, I'm now drifting off into an after-sun lotion fuelled fantasy.
NO CHARISMA?

FancyFancy · 29/10/2015 16:47

This pic is just screaming to be photoshopped

FancyFancy · 29/10/2015 18:26

Nothing else needed fluffy. Oooofffftttttt

Cinnamoncookie · 29/10/2015 18:31

Oh arsecrackers, why did I think it was a good idea to plan an epic shopping trip and meeting a friend for dinner on the same day? (Actually, I know why, it's so I could do all the travelling on a one-day travelcard, hence a lot cheaper).

Got home, collapsed with cup of tea, soon I have to go out again. --Bollocks-

FancyFancy · 29/10/2015 18:33
