The London Affair requires extras - did anyone apply for this i did, got it and its unpaid sun morning 7.45 start til 12 noon. dont know whether to go

Ellesmum/Mythumbs - well done for the BHS shoot. Cant wait to see piccies.

DLM - I think it is quite expensive cos it is only out quarterly - they have to make their money somehow! I think Dylan is much for handsome then the little boy they used in the main shot... but I'm just a little bit biased!

yes well done to mythumbs dd too! it must be nice to have dh take her occassionally, i'd love for dp to do it so he could really see what i'm always on about.

thanks lolly just being silly but it's a mum's job i reckon. that is the second time he's lost out to a blue-eyed blonde though, calpol too!

dp's mum is coming in today to watch ds tonight while we go out, so i'm frantically trying to make sure everything is clean enough to stand up to inspection! not that she's like that, but if there is mess she'll clean it and then i'll feel guilty.

I have not seen the Calpol advert. Been looking out for it. Did not know they didnt use him.

Have a lovely time tonight - we went out last nite and Muminlaw had DD. Its always good to have time to yourselves too.

yes it's been quite a long time, since we went to devon which was end of oct. i do miss having my family around now that we have ds. sometimes i feel like i've forgotten how to socialise, all i do i babytalk all day!

the editor of PP was nice enough to look in nov's issue for the ad and sure enough it was the other baby... to be fair he was much older and had a totally different look so not surprised they went with him just a little disappointed. he looked very angelic and i guess that's what they would want for a calpol ad!

Disney was great!! It was a long shoot 10.15 til 5.15, and was "Carnival" so lots of fun. The other little boy decided he didn't want his picture taken so DS had extra shots, and the cover again, which is fab!!

Disney were lovely, and let him choose any outfit he wanted to take home as well as load of huge helium balloons (didn't we have fun on the train - DS dressed as Simba and a clutch of huge balloons!!!), they have promised to send us copies as well as one of the DVD that they filmed last time. Photographer was Ulla, and they were lovely, and DS got loads of hugs! Great day - and DS gets paid!!!

DLM - I know what you mean about babytalk but now back at work I've got my identity back again. Although I miss Lydia so much.

Little Madam - as far as I can be settled - have not heard from them though re jobs/castings - after the mishap at beginning of week - I will a little paranoid(?)... dont know if that's word I'm looking for but think you might no what I mean.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day with Disney. Can just imagine the commuters faces on the train when Simba got on!

littlemaddam - glad the disney shoot went well and you got some lovely freebies! ulla was the photographer for the marks and spencers shoot elle did, she is so nice. hope ds gets front cover again!

DLM - wow dylan is doing soo well front cover of pb mag!! good luck with the shoot. cant believe calpol didnt use him in the end, they must be blind or mad lol

Mrsratty, haven't seen it yet, must be here tomorrow or Monday surely. H wasn't there yesterday, think Ulla brings her own team, so couldn't ask. Have you had a pic through from the Sat shoot yet?

The people opposite us were quite amused!! I did get him to put jacket and jeans over it at the station, though he had a little lion tail hanging down the back

The place of the shoot was a dilapidated old music hall, DS and another boy played secret missions and mysteries all day!

Lolly, I know what you mean, but when the first job comes through you'll forget all that!!

lolly- hope your phone starts ringing very soon, when elle had her first job with kids it was a month before she got anything else so it can take a while for things to get busy

LM that sounds fantastic! that's what it's all about, so glad your ds had a great time and you'll have some wonderful keepsakes. i have such a soft spot for disney, glad to have a child now i have an excuse for my dvd collection!

ellesmum, sry does pb mean prima baby or preg&baby? just don't want it getting confused! ds has prima shoot monday at perseverance studios. anyone been there before? there's a john lewis casting in victoria in the afternoon as well but i've said we probably won't do both.

dlm - sorry me getting confused lol hope prime shoot goes well, shame u cant do john lewis aswell

been helping out in ds class this morning, he loved it! they are trying to do a hundred things before xmas and noone seems to offer to help the class after reception or year one so thought i would do my bit , plus it keeps the school on our side a bit....

LM - its for instore and windows, cant wait to see these pictures as they are very sweet! wont be out till march so a long wait.

Its usually 5-10 mins I would say, but my DS is 6, might be different for babies! lots of experienceed MNers here with tinies will be able to help though.
