Yet another thread of musketeer perving commences. (Plus random laundry lists and general blether)
Pull up a bar stool and get yourself a drink

Ok, so smart casual then?

I bet you don't look as bad as you think you do. So chin up, tits out.
What style dress would suit you? Don't just think a massive kaftan either think of something nicer. What about a 50's style dress? Something you love the colour/pattern of.
Something to give you that extra bounce and smile. Because I want you to see you as I (we) do.

BloodyElkFire · 26/07/2015 10:47

S'Ok Nor the safety deposit box is covered Wink

Sooooo......bottom line is we like them semi-naked and shouty. Would that be a fair assessment?

Morrrrning.

Fave shirt-off scene: Aramis ep 1 in bed with Adele. The way he grins as he says, "Your fingernails in the such & such gardens, day before yesterday..." makes my insides go liquid every time. I have chosen to illustrate without her in the shot, however. For various reasons

Also not yet mentioned I don't think is when he & Queenie are post-coital in the convent. It's only a couple of seconds literally but the angle of the camera makes his frigging pec look mahoooooosive. Plus erm....it's beautifully lit. Grin

Fighting scene. Oh God, I love so many. But all from S1, cos then they're accompanied by the epic Fighty Music - losing that was one of their Five Biggest Mistakes in S2. I guess my all-time fave has to be ep 10 though, working their way down that street taking out everything in their path - OOOFFFTTTTTTT.

Arrrgghhhh, have forgotten other categories! I need to adopt the 2 tabs approach. Hold on.

Morning everywench! Must get dressed so we can retrieve the car from party venue, so just a quick hi, place marking, back soon.

LetUsPrey · 26/07/2015 11:11

Funniest scene for me was Athos's "funeral" Grin and I also like when Queenie's cooked the fish

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 26/07/2015 11:12

FFS MN. Sort aaahhhhhtttt this pic allowance thing.

Have run out so pec here That one doesn't have the errrr beautiful lighting though....

LetUsPrey · 26/07/2015 11:12

Too many pancakes Helen? I don't understand Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 26/07/2015 11:14

Slow down, I'm still trying to find the another categories I haven't voted in yet!

LetUsPrey · 26/07/2015 11:19

I've just made up the funniest scene one - not been mentioned before

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 26/07/2015 11:22

Shouty moment.

Athos - "Shhoooooooot damn you!" Got to be.

Aramis - courts scene with Rochefort without a shadow of a doubt. Epic epic acting. And the eye twitch. My nails were in my palms, I tell ya, he fucking owned it.

Funniest scene - yes, probs funeral. Though I reserve the right to change that as we work our way through the rest of S1.

Not in terns of humour but just all-round brilliance - my fave one from the whole of S2 I think has got to be when rams tells the others about the Queen. That whole scene was just awesome from all of them. And I loved how I think it was Adrian in an interview, said that they just know their characters sooooo well now they played it EXACTLY right from the off. They knew precisely how they would react.

I'm a bit exhausted now. Smile

Who's watching tonight then?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 26/07/2015 11:23

rams? RAMS?

Ferferkssakelaptoyoupieceofcrap - have I not typed ARAMIS enough times over the past 18 months hmmmmmmm? Angry

AnneOfAramis · 26/07/2015 11:31

There are so many funny moments, but I have to vote for 'fishing' in the Church. Absolutely friggin hilarious.

badders as I serial interviewee as I can't seem to stomach a perm role the accepted dress code appears to be smart casual these days unless you are interviewing for city/law/finance type roles. Mostly I opt for a dress usually made of a material that I can put with converse or a blazer and shoes. Then it also covers most dress codes when I have a job. I do need a smart suit though cheap because of temping in case they send me to bank or something but to be honest after a day or two the above would still work. Good luck. Is it Tuesday?

AnneOfAramis · 26/07/2015 11:36

And Shouty Moment. Tbh I don't think I can take this away from Athos and his 'shoot damn you'.

Aramis shouting at Rochefort in the trial was brilliant though and yes to the eye flickers. How does he even do that????

Baddz · 26/07/2015 11:40

I shall post a pic of my outfit shortly!
Please be truthful
If I look like shit, tell me! :)
Anyway, am back.
Got a dress - a size 16!!! :( it's a bit roomy but I figure better that than too tight?

Baddz · 26/07/2015 11:44

Bit blurry but...l

AnneOfAramis · 26/07/2015 12:02

I think it looks perfect for an interview Badds. Now channel your inner wench. Remember you are interviewing them too!

FolknNorah · 26/07/2015 12:03

I'd personally try wearing heels with it that length. Make you feel powerful as well. Grrrr. Ppphhhwwwwooooaaaaaaaarrrrr.
Style wise it works, just I'd prefer knee length IySWIM? But you should see what I'm in right now, naked of course I'm probs not the best to advise style wise. Grin Hmm

Do you like it? Are you comfortable. Do you feel great in it? Like wench?

Baddz · 26/07/2015 12:05

It's not a great photo, sorry.
It is knee length.
I have some kitten heel slingbacks? I can't wear high heels...I fall over Blush

Baddz · 26/07/2015 12:06

You can't see it very well but the neck has a cut out design which is quite nice.

AnneOfAramis · 26/07/2015 12:15

Norah is right about heels, they do make you feel more assertive. I just change my shoes before I go in so I don't traipse about in heels.

MrsEvadneCake · 26/07/2015 12:27

Afternoon. Well I had a very long sleep (thank you DH) a shower and brunch and I've shaken off the slump.

Haven't caught up yet but badders that dress with kitten heels and you'll look fabulous. I absolutely would Wink. The thing is you have an awesome personality and that's what counts, you just be yourself and they'll snap you up.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 26/07/2015 12:28

I'm in Pjs still Grin we're having a pjama morning, but need to go get dressed now.

Agree - kitten heels will look better if you have them.

OP posts:
MrsEvadneCake · 26/07/2015 12:33

I used to rock heels. Then I had the boys and forgot how to walk in them!! Now I live in boots/cons and on occasion a kitten heel.

AnneOfAramis · 26/07/2015 12:43

Seriously Badds just go in, be positive and honest and open and it will be fine.
