Yet another thread of musketeer perving commences. (Plus random laundry lists and general blether)
Pull up a bar stool and get yourself a drink

Morning wenches. Back to work this week.

Tommy and Tuppence was the new Agatha Christie on BBC1 - Partners in Crime. All 1950's fashion and make up and hair and everything.

If you could just give the nice weather back Lyndie, that'd be lovely. Thanks.

And from ep 3

Have lovely days wenches

Hi all

Sorry have not had time to rtft. Just checking in with you all. Looks like a slightly nicer day than the rain fest of yesterday and Friday.

Hope ill / injured wenches are recovering.

morelikeguidelines · 27/07/2015 08:27

Dd and I watched the good traitor on Friday eve instead. She doesn't like to watch s 1 as she likes Roquefort!

Enormouse · 27/07/2015 08:53

Morning. Pissing it down here. Mr M and toddler are going out, baby and I are staying home.

More tea needed before I read the rewatch commentary.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 27/07/2015 08:58

Morning all. Wet and murky here. DS glued to minecraft, I'm working for a bit. if I can get logged in. FMRemoteAccessWhichIsntWorking.

Morning. It's a shitty one. Pissing with rain, car is fucked and needs to go to garage for expensive shit, phones were not working (now fixed) and I've not RTFT.

Will later. May be AWOL again due to car. Bah.

MrsEvadneCake · 27/07/2015 10:14

Morning.

I had horrible bad dreams last night. I'm worn out this morning. Sun is out briefly so I'll go for a walk.

Loved the rewatch commentary. Thank you wenches. I watched Tommy and Tuppence Letus and thought it was great.

Hello to all holidaying wenches. Glad you're relaxing.

Good job on the new thread Flops Glad you had fun at the coast Mouse

ww hope your cough is a bit better today.

Flopsy28 · 27/07/2015 10:16

Morning all. Feels like February here
Got my friend's girls coming again today so will have to be jolly and keep them occupied. In pain today though, need to get my drugs sorted Sad

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 27/07/2015 11:40

FFS. I ended up in jeans, cardi & cashmere socks yesterday. Looks like today will be a repeat.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 27/07/2015 11:40

Sorry - missed out the jumper too Hmm

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 27/07/2015 11:55

Hello Smile

Thanks Minty Smile

Poor you Flops Flowers

Still coughing here, so irritating Angry

MrsEvadneCake · 27/07/2015 12:19

flops I was going to ask how friend and you are. Look after yourself too.

sparkles I had my socks and cardigan on all day too. It's one silly extreme to the other!

FolknNorah · 27/07/2015 12:23
MrsEvadneCake · 27/07/2015 12:32

I love the cool weather too Norah. But I love cardigans too!

What course do you fancy doing? I'm doing a mentoring course online.

morelikeguidelines · 27/07/2015 13:21

Am reading wifework by susan maushart, which was recommended on an aibu thread.

It's really interesting, especially as an explanation of why I seem to do 95% of all the crap in our household seeming automatically.

Small sized rant for a Monday morning!

FolknNorah · 27/07/2015 13:34

Yes. I like scarves and hats and layers. Grin I'm looking at lots of things, and I can't remember all the ones I looked at, but one was about Hadrian's wall. The creative writing course I did is back in 12/10 so might do it again Grin

I've read a bit on here about that morelike. Might get it and leave it lying around...
I mean I get why I do more, I'm here more, but well. You know.

Have done about 4 loads of laundry today.

morelikeguidelines · 27/07/2015 13:45

I think I am going to force dh to read it (somehow!)

Had lunch with old school friends plus families yesterday, which was lovely. One friend and her dh had their kids before the rest of us (well my dd fits in between her two, but ds is much younger). They were the only couple without a one year old, and they did look lovely and relaxed!

Enormouse · 27/07/2015 14:09

Enjoying the cold weather too. Except for all the laundry I've got drying inside.

norah I'm doing a course on Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Richard III. Two different courses not one with them both.

Also need to do my online grocery shop. Me and Norah are practically the same person .

FolknNorah · 27/07/2015 14:41

WE TOTES ARE MOUSE Grin

Mine is done now.
I'm looking at the lottery of birth, hans Christian Andersen and cultural studies and modern languages.
I've also signed up for a 'how to study online proper like' one as well because I'd like to do an OU one. Blush

Flopsy28 · 27/07/2015 14:47

Oh god will someone save me from this child-centred hell! My DSis and her two popped round too as I figured 'the more the merrier'. Wrong wenches. There is food everywhere. They're going home in a few minutes. Love them but it's hard to do the whole, who needs a drink, making seven types of sandwich thing. Gah, I'm horrible.

morelikeguidelines · 27/07/2015 15:08

I feel your pain flopsy

I am not a particularly tidy person, but I hate it when people are making a tip of the place!

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 27/07/2015 15:21

No your note Floppers you're normal. And tell DSis to help you clear up before you go. It's only polite to gather up the detritus before you leave...

I have been working on one project, about to swtch to another. DS is paying very nicely with lego and Dh is feeling rough. Oh joy.

for Badders.

I've done no laundry today. But I did clear the desks in the kitchen this morning. Must look into this 'wifework' thing.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 27/07/2015 15:22

Or even, 'No you're not floppers I don't think I was talking about a random note from you. Hmm

MrsEvadneCake · 27/07/2015 15:39

I did ou before my otherdegreewhichIneveruse and I loved it.

I don't have to online shop until tomorrow. A reprieve!

Helen I haven't read wife work either but do know there is inequality due to DH being away all week. Not much choice really. When he is home I make sure it's a fair share but it's taken a lot of sorting arguing.

Flops I always find a houseful fun but overwhelming. You're not alone. Brew
