There's something hugely amusing about pratfalls - once they're over and no serious harm is done. I fell over on pea-shingle outside our house a while ago (last year?) and ended up picking out the gravel thinking 'FFS, am I 7yo or something?' because that's the sort of injury it looked like.

I did a corker 3 days after we moved in here...
Was coming down the stairs with a basket of coat hangers and I fell.
I somehow landed at the bottom of the stairs with all my considerable weight on my toes
I broke 2 toes on my left foot and 2 in my right.
It's really hard to limp with both legs :)
I also do a good line of walking into mirrored walls and columns in shops

Alright wenches? Am home, survived puking on ferry not actually that bad in the end but I am a wuss delays and arriving home to find a tree blown down and blocking the drive. At almost 10pm. DH a superstar and did a lumberjack impression with handsaw and cleared it so we could get parked. Was all a bit manly .

Mouse I didn't realise you were so close to ferryport. We are thinking of Antrim coast next year (but further round from the batshit coach tour dodgem bit) and if so you will get a proper visit or meet up. . With biscuits.

DrIssy has been bear with sore head most of the evening but thankfully dodgy tummy has disappeared so can just about cope with his grumpiness.

I think my best ever pratfall was as a teen. Was up in my bedroom with big sis & we were seeing how high we could kick, can-can style. All those athletics warm-up exercises meant I achieved a high kick so impressive it was too much for my short (and tightened) school skirt. My standing leg was pulled forward by my skirt (but at least my stitching held eh?) so violently that my leg was swept from under me & I fell flat on my arse. Ouch. Was fucking funny though

I remember being in the pool room of a pub with a friend, think we were late teens at the time. Friend was taking a shot and I was walking round the table. I tripped over my cue and just went straight down to the floor. Friend looked up and had no clue where I'd gone. One second she'd been able to see me out of the corner of her eye, the next I vanished! It was very funny at the time
