Some of us are sat in the communal tavern bed eating cake and being drunk. Some of us are on a forrinholiday having a very successfull and enjoyable time.

Some of us would like this

It was really odd Mavis. The play was in a deconsecrated church in Manchester. It was a really hot evening in August and we could see the audience there fanning themselves with their programmes. Meanwhile, the air conditioning in the cinema was rather enthusiastic and we were all flipping freezing Grin

Tom Hiddleston falls into my Hmm I'm Not Sure, I Probably Would Though. This may change as there's an NT Live (repeat I think) of I, Coriolanus soon.

Right, now I must do some ironing.

Ooo I have some picture allowance back

Oh goody, more Hiddleston for me.Grin He's quite ginger in Henry V (and I wonder if it's deliberate as he's Prince Harry in Henry IV) - we'd have very ginger dcs. He was excellent in Coriolanus LetUs - Mark Gatiss is good in it too.

Glad you're home safe Lyndie and I hope the remainder of the wenches get back in good time.

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 12/07/2015 21:41

I saw KB as Coriolanus many years ago. The threatre was in smallbutposhandculturalsoutherncity and the stage kind of comes out into the audience. He was utterly spellbinding and my 17 year old self fell in love Grin
Love his Henry V, damn I could have watched that this weekend. Bugger.

Mavis :( :(

madame ugh, hope you get home ok.

Cinnamoncookie · 12/07/2015 21:47

Hah, I worked on Coriolanus when I was at dramaschool. Watching it umpteen times in a row got pretty boring, I'm afraid, but it was enlivened by perving over the actors playing the leads, who have since graduating been in thiswestendplay and thatwestendmusical. It was in a fairly small studio theatre, and I was operating lighting from the back row behind the audience, and one of said HBFs (natch) clocked me staring at his arse in leather trousers Blush

I see you've always been wench Cinn Grin. Thank goodness you have an outlet for it all now..!

I must be ovulating - TH is wearing very tight trousers and it's rather distracting.

LetUsPrey · 12/07/2015 22:14

I've just watched the third and final part of Sense and Sensibility. "Can you forgive me? Can you love me? Will you marry me?"

All. The. Sighs.

MiladyBeaWinter · 12/07/2015 22:20

We used to live near vairthespiantowb when we first got married and worked in bigmidlandycity near wot Apes lives. Went to loads of productions on cheapy standby tickets.

As a result I have a real thing for 90s RSC thespians. Including but not exclusive too Toby Stephens, Owen Teale and the other one that is in GoT at the moment but who I can't remember the name of as been on red wine again. I was very suggestible in the 90s obvs.

MiladyBeaWinter · 12/07/2015 22:22

You know. Ser Jorah.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk!!!! (but still haven't actually RTFT)

WenchVac was fantabulous - four days of sunshine and no small child pestering me for x/y/z so the lack of sleep wasn't even that much of a problem. I would recommend, in future, not packing car keys in the hold for the flight home though (oops) but hold luggage arrived too, the car decided it was happy to drive home at more than 8mph, and all was well.

This post is brought to you by the power of Red Bull - wenches: I'm wired Grin so I shall put that energy to good use...

.
.
.
Right, Tavern is deep cleaned and all sparkly bar is restocked, all crockery and cutlery is clean, furniture is lovingly polished with bees-wax (bees somewhat annoyed at being disturbed at this time of the night morning but ho hum)

I have unearthed/woken up several musketeers in the process and will now choose which one(s) to work off my remaining energy on...

eeeny, meeny, miney... oh who has time?

I still have half a can of red bull left you know - imagine what would happen if I drank the lot in one go?!? Shock Grin

Snogs and parps all round....

Night morning Grin

Tomorrow I have SchoolEvent to attend and a huge amount of work that needs doing by an unrealistically short deadline Hmm I predict I shall be a bit grumpier tomorrow.

morelikeguidelines · 13/07/2015 07:33

Which version of sense and sensibility letus?

I love Colonel Brandon. He should be played as an hbf imo. Smile

LetUsPrey · 13/07/2015 07:41

chaiselounger · 13/07/2015 07:58

"Did you come home from Prague well rested"?

"Err, well actually it wasn't THAT sort of holiday" Wink

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 13/07/2015 08:32

Believe me, 4 days of no pestering from/responsibility for DS counts as 'well rested' Grin

morelikeguidelines · 13/07/2015 08:38

I do like that version , letus

That's the one where they make something of the character of Brandon's ward/niece having her baby?

S and s is my favourite Jane Austen book.

morelikeguidelines · 13/07/2015 08:40
