Apologies for lateness: horribly busy day yesterday at work, followed by possibly one too many cocktails last night in recompense and today has been likewise busy but more enjoyable and thus can highly recommend Damsel in Distress (a Gershwin musical based on a Wodehouse play) currently at Chichester (and hopefully might transfer) even 'though it was the reason I couldn't do mini wench theatring at Cinn's). And then this evening was lusting watching Rush on C4 while DrIssy wittered on explained about some minor points of F1 rules.

Have read thread, hopes everyone is feeling better/hasn't given in to justifiable homicide of the dh/has dc who are no longer poorly/won't have hangovers tomorrow (delete as appropriate).

Good Lord. You go out for the day to experience some culture & to be all refined & return to find the place covered in dead skin, half-drunk mugs of some odd-smelling brew & comtess slurring her words in the corner.
