Having enjoyed toenailgate so much last week, I have decided to repeat the experience with my right thumb nail. A large framed print randomly fell off the bedroom wall in the middle of the night several months ago - not terrifying me in the slightest - anyway, I have finally got round to replacing the smashed frame, and as I was poking my thumb through the plastic it slipped and the little metal thing that holds the picture in place got shoved quite a long way down between the nail and nail bed. Cue a surprising amount of blood. I am now sporting a comedy thumb plaster and wondering how the hell I am going to tackle my moon cup later (tmi?)

Eek! That sounds painful elk. No advice re: mooncup I'm afraid, I've used different fingers, but never been without the use of my thumb. If it wasn't at the start of the period I'd be tempted to try left-handed. At the start of my period that would probably end up with the bathroom looking like an abattoir
