Morning Chaise. Hope your back feels better soon Helen.

I'm saving that clip for tonight.

Saw ST:ID at the cinema Madame. At an imax in 3D. I managed to squeak with pleasure every time he was on the screen Grin especially when he was kicking the shit out of people.

Best be off. Laterz

FancyFancy · 15/06/2015 09:18

Morning

Good luck at the dentist badders, hope it gets sorted & I hope your back eases soon helen

You're nearly there madame, an impressive performance.

ww, happy anniversary, how you arrived here made me laugh.

Are you in need of a large bosom to snuggle into norah?

Ok, off the the vets for the flea treatment I keep forgetting to pick up. Have a good day everyone

Enormouse · 15/06/2015 09:22

Morning

Happy wenchiversary ww. I feel like I've 'known' you forever Smile

P&P - I couldn't stand Jane and bingley. And why didn't lizzy go for colonel fitzwilliam.

just dropped toddlermouse at preschool. We had him off for a week cos of his chest infection and the other plague carrying gremlins at the school. I'm going to have to let them know he won't be coming back next year and dramatically step down as the Secretary of the committee Grin. Any suggestions? Mr M says to wear a cape and carry a cane and swoosh out dramatically.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/06/2015 09:23

Morning. I haven't watched Lost in Austen but I'm reading the Pride and Prejudice courtesy of Barnes and Noble and the expired copyrightGrin

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/06/2015 09:26

Actually i think I started watching it once but it was Hmm

Is it the one where a contemporary girl gets transported into the Austen house?

MadamedeChevreuse · 15/06/2015 09:40

mouse, she did go for col fitzwilliam a bit. but he told her he couldnt afford to marry her cos he was a younger son. A lovely chap, but def a head ruling heart type.

Say "well its been lovely, good luck with it all, adios!" And walk away with a huge smile on your face.

MadamedeChevreuse · 15/06/2015 09:41

I dont know drink all I know is it has the girl out of As If who looks like the Bond girl / girl out of Hansel and Gretel Gemma thingy.

MadamedeChevreuse · 15/06/2015 09:49

Col fitzwilliam was known as"fitzwilliam" but this was also darcy's first name. So what did they call each other when they were little kids playing together? This always bothered me.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/06/2015 09:51

Drink I think that's the one, I think I have it on a disc somewhere from my mother, but it's in the pile of 'things I will watch when DH doesn't want to watch tv' i.e. when hell freezes over and I'm not on MN Hmm

The other fun thing with Austen being out of copyright is 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' and also 'Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters'

Mouse I love MrMouse's suggestion - there aren't enough swooshy capes in RL and you can pretend to be borrowing one from a musketeer who will want you to deliver it back in person, with nothing on underneath Wink

Morning Madame*

Fancy sodding fleas eh? We 'did' InconvenientCat last night (a week late - bugger) and need to do StupidCat next week.

I have to get on with project paperworky things........

Enormouse · 15/06/2015 09:59

Grin the vindictive part of me wants to say 'your events are shit and I thank fuck I don't have to sell anymore raffle tickets, you bunch of imbeciles untouched by feminism'

I dunno. Fitzwilliam was cute and I love a pragmatist.

ApricotCrush · 15/06/2015 10:07

Morning all. Have STFTBNRM.

Happy Anniversary WW, here's to many more.

Good luck at the dentist Badders.

Keep taking the tablets Madame.

Ouch for Helen's back, hope it sorts itself out soon.

Can't remember anything else. Have DGS1 today so it's all go.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 15/06/2015 10:08

I didn't really google perverts Grin

And I thought colonel Fitzwilliam was cute too Wink

On Friday it's Midsummer Eve and Swedens unofficial natinal day so a friend and I are having a marathon viewing of P&P Smile

MavisGrind · 15/06/2015 10:09

Morning all.

Good luck at the dentists Baddz

Hope your back is better Helen

I too favour a dramatic swoosh out Mouse - not enough RL swooshing IMO.

Happy Wenchiversary WW Grin

No, have forgotten everything else.

Currently having my weekly scone and coffee before a food shop. Car is in the garage for MOT - so that should make for a cheap day, said no one ever.

Have a good day all.

MadamedeChevreuse · 15/06/2015 10:27

Oh brilliant ww! Envy

Hello helen, hows the back?

All clear.

mave, I think it's renner o'clock...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/06/2015 10:38

Madame shouldn't he be taking that off? Or have you just finished with him? Wink

MadamedeChevreuse · 15/06/2015 10:52

Yep all done Grin so he's off to mave's now.

MadamedeChevreuse · 15/06/2015 11:09

helen Ive not read the pride and zombies mash up but I think I probably should. Is it good?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/06/2015 11:24

Oh FFS... typed post; lost post.

Madame I got it out of the library - it made me smile. I probably wouldn't buy it or re-read it, but it was suitably silly

Cinnamoncookie · 15/06/2015 11:38

Wearing my pragmatic hat ... Mouse, how much longer will TM be at the pre-school ? Will it affect him day to day if you do a swishy-cloak flounce ?

Of course, in theory, I'm all in favour of the staredownyournoseatthe pointlesspeasantsandaddresstheminaloftytoneofvoice style of resignation from committees and suchlike.

Cinnamoncookie · 15/06/2015 11:39

Madame, you appear to have posted a gif of a man getting dressed. What is this heresey ?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/06/2015 11:43

I think Madame is trying to stop the world grinding to a halt, as it would if she sent him from hers to Mavis without any clothes.
Allegedly. Grin

Baddz · 15/06/2015 11:43

What a bloody palaver!
I need a a root canal (not unexpected)
Dentist is on hols Thursday and Friday this week so it's got to be done in 2 parts....weds afternoon and next Thursday am.
Ffs.
Oh and I am on a 4 day course of steroids.
So by the time he root canal is done it will have cost about £800.
Christ.
I am now officially in a bad mood.
As you were.

Baddz · 15/06/2015 11:45

Mouse...dooooo iiiiittt Grin
I will hold your cape.
Oh, and my car has a mystery leak too.
Rather like my good self...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/06/2015 11:49

Passes Wine to Badders for self-medication

Enormouse · 15/06/2015 11:53

Only for another two weeks cin . So I've got time to work on my flounce. Of course you may hold my cape badders. Anyone want to hold my weapon? (Steady now)

But of course I will be reasonable and thank them for everything they've achieved with TM and say we will be sending BM there when he's old enough. But we feel that TM needs to be in a more specialised environment.
