6 is fine. I'm not aware of any interactions with other meds bit depending on his migraine stuff which I'm sorry I can't remember you may want just to check with the pharmacist. But nasal spray is the way to go. I don't bother with oral antih at all and in May the tree pollen gets me horribly.

LaComtess · 11/06/2015 23:19

Oh and Norah. Don't worry about breakages. Twas Mr C's fault it broke. And frankly, I do like to be inspired so carry the fuck on.

LetUsPrey · 11/06/2015 23:20

NHS page re hayfever and children

I use Galpharm Loratadine tablets. 14 for 99p (I think) from Home Bargain. Suitable for children over 2, but they must weight over 30kg which, according to the packet, is an average 9 year old. Very not helpful.

Eye drops too. I got some good ones from Superdrug last year.

Hope you get something sorted.

Right. Parps all round.

Thanks wrenches xx

FancyFancy · 11/06/2015 23:27

Evening, hope everyone's had a good day.

I've had a very civilised day at a stately home complete with beautiful gardens with my parents. But I blame you lot of being an appalling influence on me. Especially you Tavlit writers. I hold you responsible for what I can only describe as wholly unsuitable thoughts for such a place. Specifically what sprung to mind as I comtemplated a long red plush velvet sofa in an alcove in one room and later in the shrubbery. Blush

Enormouse · 11/06/2015 23:27

I've got to get to bed too. Have to be up early for TMs appointment.

Night wenches

LaComtess · 11/06/2015 23:27

Oh and I'll leave you with this. This outs me to myself and a lovely window cleaner man. I parked in the car park this morning belting out international velvet by Catatonia. It's on my own personal BOOTCAMP playlist. If you don't know it, the chorus is
'Every day when I wake up I thank the lord I'm Welsh'.

I got out of the car, realised my window was down and so was his. In a very broad Newport accent he looked across and said 'fucking great song love' . It's good I don't embarrass easy eh.

FancyFancy · 11/06/2015 23:35

Grin can't blame you for singing that comtess, it's a cracking song to belt out. Disclaimer : only the English bits obv, I can't speak a word of Welsh. Except for 'Fire Exit'. Confused

FancyFancy · 12/06/2015 00:39

Catching up:

Flowers chaise just adding my voice to all the other wenches that you have every right to prioritise your health at the moment

issy - You're spot on re: Butterscotch Angel Delight

You have tons of Marmite in the dungeon livia? Any unopened jars in there? Lovely stuff, but for covering HBFs with, I'm a biscuit spread kind of a wench.

Er comtess when you talk of having Marmite again too quickly, are you talking of 5 minutes? 10 minutes? Otherwise I just don't understand. On the parental front, I've managed to only be slightly snarky today, so seem to be coping so far Grin. Hope madame's absence is due to work trip & not the lack of wi-fi in police cells.

FolknNorah · 12/06/2015 06:57

really quickly before I forget,
baddersz do you dry his clothes and bedding outside? I find this can make me worse as its on everything then. There is a balm thingy like wot mouse said, but I reckon Vaseline is a good bet if you wanted to try it first. I've not tried doing it because in my head it would trap loads of dust and pollen, which, me being me, I'd wipe directly into my nose/eyes Grin

Window open in the bedroom doesn't help, even over night, but he might be ok overnight.
TBH I just suffer in silence get on with it and dream about frosty mornings....

comtess you see how devastating it is when you lose something like that? I hope you're ok now, that you managed to sleep and can move on. Wink

well done on coping and wenching whilst out and about fancy Good Work.

Baddz · 12/06/2015 07:00

Hmmm
Any tips.for getting a 6 year old.to take nasal spray!? Confused
Well...12 years ago.this very day I was in.Labour with ds1....he was born at 8.37am.

Took.him.to.his asthma review with the nurse.last night...he has grown 6cms since Jan! No wonder I.am.having to buy him new clothes!

Enormouse · 12/06/2015 07:29

badders bless him. Happy birthday to him. Hope you all have a lovely day.

No clue how, I've been getting a 3 year old to use an inhaler by putting him in a rugby grip for the first two days. He now lets us do it, but initially it was awful. I'd just persevere with it.

Morning all. I'm up early to take aforementioned TM to the audiologist. I am dreading it as he's noise sensitive and hates anyone going near his ears. Think of me.

MavisGrind · 12/06/2015 07:40

Morning all!

Sorry, no help re hay fever (which auto corrected to gay fever Hmm) - sorry.

Lovely day here, taken the dog out and now off to work. Mightily pissed off that it's 21degrees here today, 15 and rain tomorrow. Oh well.

Have a good day my lovelies.

Baddz · 12/06/2015 07:43

Mouse...thinking of you today x

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 12/06/2015 07:52

Morning all, happy birthday Badders DS1 (and Badders, for putting the effort in!)
mouse good luck with the audiologist

Lovely and sunny here again - I'm going to run round the house finding more things to wash Grin and then get to work in the cold north-facing spare room tip laundry room office. I agreed to take on another project yesterday - yes, I am clearly a lunatic, but it needs to be done before summer hols, so then I can cut back over summer hols. that's my thinking anyway...

Enormouse · 12/06/2015 07:54

taking him to a and e was awful. I basically had to sit on him to hold him down and there was a lot of near constant screaming. this is actually going to be worse than that.

LetUsPrey · 12/06/2015 07:58

Morning wenches.

Happy birthday to DS1 Badderz. Good luck Mouse.

Have fab days wenches whatever you're up to

Morning Smile

BloodyElkFire · 12/06/2015 08:15

Moooooooorrninnnnnnnnngggg

Look what turned up after i'd used my pic allowance up FMPA

Mouse whenever you mention TM, I have to think twice that you mean TM and not TMs iykwim. Hope it goes well at the audiology appt with TM (to, nto) Grin

Swagger Inn: Thread 98 - Keep Wenching, How Else Do We Know We're Truly Alive?
Enormouse · 12/06/2015 08:33

elk I think that myself. It's very hard not to mentally imagine taking 4 grown men to an appointment and saying if they're very very good we can go and look at the minion aisle in B&M bargains.

Morning ww.

ApricotCrush · 12/06/2015 08:48

Morning all! It's gone dull here, so I might get something done today.

Good luck to Mouse and TM . DGS is noise-sensitive and runs away if he thinks something will be loud. I think he may have got it from me, I have hyperacusis and no-one particularly DH seems to understand how certain sharp noises actually hurt.

Happy Birthday to Badderses DS.

Footner update: Feet are beginning to peel and look absolutely gross. You're not supposed to pick at it.

FancyFancy · 12/06/2015 08:50

Morning everyone, it's raining here Angry, that wasn't supposed to happen until this afternoon.

Thanks norah, all that Araporn (especially all the al fresco shenanigans) makes it quite hard to keep your mind on the job .

Good luck with the appt mouse

Happy birthday to badders's DS1

I seem to keep missing you this week!

FancyFancy · 12/06/2015 08:58

Clip of Luca getting his award .

It's not great quality, but he does look nice.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 12/06/2015 09:02

Morning wenches! Brew

Happy birthday to miniBadders Cake

Fancy I do hope you aren't going to use the Marmite as an excuse to sneak down to the dungeon - what is there can't be unseen Grin

FancyFancy · 12/06/2015 09:03

No I'm not that brave livia, not even for Marmite. I was hoping you'd bring me up a jar, what with you being so lovely 'n generous
