Just had to do a scary thing to my iphone and erase it and restore it. It was fine but a bit terrifying hitting the erase button!!! But it kept claiming it was full, when in reality there was 53GB of 'other' data floating around which has now gone thankfully. No idea why its so hard to do stuff like that on Apple products but there you go.
