thanks sparks 3 different GPs told me that ideally they wouldn''t prescribe the drops at all for the gunk, only when they eye is very inflamed. They only do it cause otherwise parents can't go to work! They said that the eyes can get used to the treatment and it's more difficult to treat it the next time. Like sore throat, it's just sth that should go away. grrr.
