Well, there's been a bit of drama at casa mouse. Whilst I was gardening a pair of 6 year olds turned up and made a few remarks that were a bit racist in nature. So I went and had words with their parents.

I've just had one of the wee boys and his mum around, who was absolutely mortified. She made him apologise to me and gave me a box of quality street.

Sympathies ww, I'm probably at a similar stage - it's not that I'm getting classic menopausal symptoms, but that I just can't predict the usual symptoms over a month any more.

Exactly Fancy How old are you if I may ask? I'm almost 44 so I think it's a bit early?

Wicked - possibly perimenopausal. I suspect that's what's been going on with me in the last year or so. Nearly 45. Fun isn't it?

I'm 46 ww, so as letus says an age where perimenopause is a possibility. I don't really have much to complain about, it's not like I have any really troublesome symptoms, but I feel less in control - as my cycle is not as predictable as it once was.

I don't like this, I wan't to be in control, and now I'm going to be surprised all the time

I am 42 - 43 this year - and I am def peri menopausal

I've not been caught out in an embarrassing way, just that I've gone from a cycle that rarely deviated more than 1 day, to varying several days either way. Some months my breasts are terribly painful, some months not all at. The PMS impatience that was very useful for getting shit done once a month is less pronounced some months, and other months turns up later. Or earlier
