Thanks letus, and that pic of yours is a classic - happy, grubby & slightly drunk and all in a billowy shirt. Perfection Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 03/05/2015 14:16

Lyndie · 03/05/2015 14:17

Well done on the run Badders.

Hope everyone is holed up at home with some Brew and some Cake

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 03/05/2015 14:18

I'm exhausted but the place looks better. I even did some disgusting "plumbing work" which I'm sure men were invented for! Then I tipped the bucket I was using so all the disgusting water ended up on the floor Angry

IssyStark · 03/05/2015 14:26

ww bugger in a word Sad

badders excellentStar

Beautifully sunny here now after a wet morning. Yesterday's wash is still in the line as it got drenched last night but should be dry soon. Have another load ready to go out.

Had lunch here and not in London with friends due to dc playing tag with waking up last night. DrIssy has just retreated upstairs for a nap. Narked about not seeing friends but doubt we'd be great company, nor yet safe to drive. However have a lapful of ds1, a mug of coffee and a large choice bun as made by ds1 & DH last night Smile

Lyndie · 03/05/2015 14:30

What is a choice bun? Is that a typo or some sort of baked product I haven't sampled?! Smile

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 03/05/2015 14:55

I think it's when you're playing in Soccer Aid Lyndie & your hair's going to flop in your eyes. So you need to do something about it.

Smile
IssyStark · 03/05/2015 15:15

Bloody apple. Choux bun

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/05/2015 15:35

Ooooh choux bun - stuffed with cream and chocolate on top.... yum.

Am orf to garden - weather has cleared over and it's actually really warm - I just went out to pick rhubarb all dressed for winter and was pleasantly surprised. Though NOT pleasantly surprised about the thistles coming up in the veg patch.

Lyndie · 03/05/2015 16:09

Choux, excellent!!

Enjoy the garden Helen.

FancyFancy · 03/05/2015 16:25

Has cleared up a bit here too - after thunder and torrential rain, so probably ought to go out & do some gardening too. But first I'll make use of the light to take pics for ebay listings.

Enormouse · 03/05/2015 16:57

Well done badders.

Just back from lunch. The bf seems very nice but kind of weak willed. All went ok except towards the end when sil and bf disappeared quite rudely.

I managed to get 'covered in bees' into a conversation Grin and Mr M got in cake or death at dessert. The jammy git also managed 'the crops have failed and the gods are angry'

MavisGrind · 03/05/2015 17:18

Back from the cinema -LOVED Avengers, so did ds (although probably not for the same reason). "We're fighting an army of robots and I have a bow and arrow..." I did think of you Madame. I've been trying to convince ds that I have a touch of the Natasha Romanov about me but he remains unconvinced. Hmm I may also have inadvertently bought Avengers Assemble from Sainsbos on the way home....which was ridiculous really as that was supposed to be for Ds's birthday. Oh well.

Arf at Eddie Izzard bingo - well done for Covered in Bees - quite an achievement.

Hope the christening was fun and the veg patch is behaving.....nope, can't remember anything else....

Off to open crisps and watch AA...

LetUsPrey · 03/05/2015 17:44

Every time Thor and Ultron were standing together all I could hear in my head was Edna Mode from The Incredibles saying "No! No capes!"

Flopsy28 · 03/05/2015 17:47

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaa at mrs sparkle's Aramist! That must have near killed you sparks! Sounds like a mid-life crisis eau de toilette!!!

Flopsy28 · 03/05/2015 17:53

Just speed-read *lyndie's post about the new princess and got mixed up when she then typed,
Loved the new pic, all three looked battle-weary

I know the feeling!

Flopsy28 · 03/05/2015 17:54

MOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flopsy28 · 03/05/2015 18:03

Bloody hell!
I'm up to 'Wenches Do Politics'
I, too agree with the Milliband/cat-vom theory. I like the royals especially Harry and have always voted Labour. If I'm perfectly honest, it's maybe not always for the right reasons but I kinda know deep down it's the right thing for me to do.
