If I were you (and obv I'm not so feel free to tell me to feck off) I would get Ds seen today re ooh gp. Most supermarkets have pharmacies now that you can get prescriptions from at weekends with no problem.
If your Dh is so very unhelpful and uncompromising then I think that's your best bet :(

badders thank you - you're right. However we're going to have to go to ils first and try to get ooh appt there. There's no way we're not going to ils for the weekend, cos its fils bday and dp will not hear of not going.

He is not all bad, and in many ways he is miles better than a lot of blokes (eg he totally knows what to do with a baby) but he can be a real twat sometimes.

I've done the host bit, guests fed & packed off. I am still in my pj's & want to go back to bed & sleep, but having moaned about the delay in getting the tree delivered I'm feeling guilty about not rushing to put it up now it's here.
