I don't want to upset the apple cart further, but if you did not mean it to "sound" like a joke Kolin why put your first comment so briefly. Why did you not explain in full at the time about your concerns for Richard and his crash helmet based on your own apparent experiences. Then we would not have be offended. Richard might well be amused at your comments, but I wonder if his wife would find it so funny. Sorry is obviously the hardest word for you.

On a happier and more worthwhile note, I see that the YAA Charity is now up to £135,516 with the new target being raised to £150,000. How amazing is that. Now say that we don't care Kolin!!!

catsmother · 24/09/2006 11:57

It's fantastic to hear Richard's continuing to improve.

What kind of kick some people get from posting so-called jokes and/or snidey remarks when someone dies, or is seriously injured, I have no idea.

TeenyB · 24/09/2006 12:47

Hear hear Catsmother.

plummymummy · 24/09/2006 23:56

Was wondering if kolin was DominiConnor. He used to write similar twaddle. It's definitely someone from the U.S or Canada.

fattiemumma · 24/09/2006 23:59

i neither know nor care..hopefully he/she/it is back under its bridge where they belong.

Thats Fab news about the air ambulance though.

I hope it has also raised awarness for the aother air ambulance's as well. our local one has to go and visit shopping centres to try and raise cash.....seems ridiculous that something so vital has to go bucket waving in order to raise funding, but thats government funding for you.....60milion on a war no one wants but no money for a service that saves thousands of lives every year

KolinEdwoodBarnz · 25/09/2006 12:25

Nope, still here fatty cow.

I don't think you appreciate the real joke....it was you. I know the crash helmet gag was old and sick, but that wasn't the joke...you were.

I wanted to create 'agitational confrontation', something I achieved quite successfully.

It was an experiment in perspective. Richard Hammond knew the risks and, although it is sad that the this accident occured, he must have been aware of the potential consequences. What is more tragic are the amount of soldiers who have DIED in Iraq, the two babies who died in a horrible house fire in Peterborough over the weekend, the baby attacked by the rottweiler. All worse tragedies which happen everyday. Richard Hammond is getting the best treatment and will walk away from this, if not perfect..alive!!!!

I must thank you for playing my game so well. I am leaving this site and won't return. (Which no doubt something original like 'good riddance, playing with his toys etc will be written by you.)
If you keep on about this message afterwards, bare this in mind, you are only adding to the joke and making yourself more foolish.

A rhetorical question: Were you aware that for two days the conversation was on Kolin Barnz, and barely on Richard Hammond. Perspective you see?

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 12:26

wot are you on about
has he walked over water yet this hammond guy?

LieselVonTrapp · 25/09/2006 13:30

Calling people fattie cows is not on. Ive reported this.

TaraPalmerTomkinsonsNose · 25/09/2006 13:31

oi oyu fatcow

ruty · 25/09/2006 13:59
Hmm
iota · 25/09/2006 14:04

I'd just like to say "good riddance" to Kolin

as I'd hate for him to be disappointed

DebbieRice · 25/09/2006 15:13

Well done KolinEdwoodBarnz for saying what most of us think. This Richard Hammond business has been blowing right out of proportion. As you say there are other more important things.

Many insults have been said about this person. I personally think he is brave, he/she says things straight. He/she has made most of us look fools...me included. Even Iota has had to have a final say, even though Kolin has said that was his/her intention. We played into his/her hands and are still doing so. Quite brilliant.

Except by a handful, I think KolinEdwoodBarnz will be missed. Don't go..come back.

Pure genius.

If this has been only a brief visit on

tribpot · 25/09/2006 15:15

Ah, the troll doppels himself - you are quite the little expert young Kolin

Returning to other matters, why is the air ambulance service a charitable organisation? I guess one could argue the same about the RNLI .. and the coastguard?

zippitippitoes · 25/09/2006 15:16

I think it's wonderful the expression of good wishes and hope for richard hammond...I'm sure it must be appreciated by his family and friends. I'm so pleased he is doing well and look forward to seeing him back on Top gear

Piffle · 25/09/2006 15:19

I'd like to point out that your "most of us" does not include me.

sockmonkey · 25/09/2006 15:19

Anyway.... back to Hammond....

Glad he is doing better. I really didn't expect him to be improving as fast as he has done. Maybe the NHS isn't as bad as folks make out eh?

I am now keeping fingers crossed that he has a programme to come back to. Not all their stunts were about speed. My fave one recently was the caravaning holiday. They couldn't even get the car over 50MPH on the motorway. It's good that donantions are rolling in for the air ambulance too. His Wife has asked people to donate to that rather than sending flowers and stuff, which is good.

zippitippitoes · 25/09/2006 15:20

I loved the caravan holiday too

bran · 25/09/2006 15:21

So Kolin/Debbie's school day finishes at 3pm (10 mins to walk home, 2 mins to boot up computer, 1 min to post). Does that mean that you're in primary school Kolin/Debbie? Shouldn't you be doing something more constructive if you're bored. Get off your computer right now you lazy so-and-so and go and empty the dishwasher for your overworked mother.

DebbieRice · 25/09/2006 15:32

What are you trying to say?

zippitippitoes · 25/09/2006 15:39

I think we are trying to say that we are pleased Richard Hammond is doing well and we support his family and the air ambulance service

fattiemumma · 25/09/2006 15:42

well MAster BArnez you will notice that no the convo was not all about you as in my post prior to your 'unveiling' i had said how great it was that t his accident had at least bought awarness of the YAA and hopefully other AA's around the country.

If you were trying to casue confrontation then way to go, what a genius.

Oh and as for the other trgedies of the week you will also notice that there are threadds dedicated to those as well.

I am glad you have no intention to return, maybe next time you wish to practice your yr 7 psychology you will pick a less emotive subject.
Oh and it wasn'tyour pathetic excuse for a joke that angered me...it offended me yes but doidnt make me angry. what made me angry was the following insults from you becasue i had stated that in accordance with MN rules i had reported your post.

Oh, and if you want to discuss the politics involved with the soldiers who are being sent to the potential deaths in a war that no one wants by all means start a thread....as the partner of an Ex soldier i will more than gladly discus this with you.

but i doubt you will....you'll stick to throwing petty insults and offensive comments.

bye bye

DebbieRice · 25/09/2006 15:45

I am very pleased to hear it, that is wonderful news. It really is what we wanted to hear.

Actually what I wanted to know was what Bran is insinuating about me (I think she means me)and what he/she is saying about this Kolin person.

It sounds like the worse kind of insult, one that I have reported.

We are all entitled to our opinion, whatout remarks like that being made. Surely this is what this forum is all about.

fattiemumma · 25/09/2006 15:53

from what i can see i think that Bran may have considered the possibility that you and KB are one and the same person...that you have just finished school and that you shuodl be busey doing homework.

to be fair i think it is not too wild an accusation seeing as MR Barnez is such a low life and you seemed to have defended him.
it is quite normal for trolls to namechange to try and defend themselves.

by all means if you have found that post offensive report it..that what MN's rules state...which is why KB's first post was reported.

the child is vile and if you are a genuine poster i really wuldn't associate myself with him if i were you. im sorry but to think we have taken the news of this crash a little to much to heart is one thingbut to make a cras and offensive remark about it is quite another.

willow2 · 25/09/2006 15:53

Yawn.

DebbieRice · 25/09/2006 16:03

I understand what you are saying.

What I was saying was it is being taken to perosnally and as KEB says there are more important things. ThHe did play most of us for a fool and got the last laugh.

I other words, he got exactly out of it what he wanted.

I did find Brans words insulting however. I made me sound a little, how can i put it, having unnatural intentions to those of school age.

Perhaps i misunderstood.
