has anybody had a brazilian wax?

Was it embarrassing? what exactly do they do and how much does it hurt?!!

Don't worry about me being here Branster - nobody else does these days.
I'm one of the very few males keeping this site to its motto "By parents for parents".
Some company would be nice - I wonder what happened to the others? Simon? Bear? Maybe I'll do a lost member thread......

well stuart, since now you know, maybe you can give me an idea on how can i suggest my dh to have a trim. when i notice it it's really not the time and the place to say such things and at any other times it feels as if i might embarress him by mentioning it. what if he asks 'how do you know it would look better?' and couldn't answer that. Hmmm. any suggestions?

stuart, my dh had hi chest waxed... once and only once rofl. I did it fir him and he was screaming and bellyaching all the way thru pmsl. I was laughing my head off not cos it hurt but at the way he was screaming.

Hi Branster - how about over a bottle of wine - but since you'll have the scissors, you'll have to pretend to be drinking. You could try "I'd like to see more of you...../see you in more detail.....". You will, of course, have to be surprised and delighted with the results (us chaps have very fragile egos).

what is a Playboy wax??? it was mentioned today in teh Style supplement of the Sunday Times and it got me thinking. Anyone had one of those?

On having a search through google, it seems that a playboy wax is like a brazillian, but with your butt done too.

Could be wrong though.

Hi Coppertop - no I didn't do it last weekend (couldn't decide which aftershave to use - any recommendations?).
Have decided I will do it soon - though just a trim (a number 3, as you mentioned) - not a shave. I'll let you know when.

StuartC, go for it!!! I did mine on Sunday (not wanting to be outdone by you), it's brilliant. Just use scissors to start with i'd say. just a trim, because if you use a hair trimmer it might look unnaural, then work from there. More important: what will your DW say about it??!!

Lipstickmum, good time of year to go for it as the hair comes out easier when you are warm. Had bikini & legs done today and nodded off while she did the back of my legs!

Hiddenspirit- I'm getting one done on saturday! I had no idea this thread was still going!! I'm a bit worried though that because my 'bits' aren't what they used to be after having 2 kids that she's going to be disgusted by what she sees. I know that you have to be completely naked at this place I'm going. I can't even have my partner reassure me as he doesn't know I'm going, It's a surprise for him
