Yes, Frank is a good, solid name. I have it in mind for any little Reginalds.

Neville · 06/07/2006 15:09

most of the sensible names have gone!
Who's got Arnold? And Arthur? And Cedric FFS!

Wilfred · 06/07/2006 15:10

Ah finally got one. Thank's to DH's dear departed Grandad for the inspiration. All my Grandad's, Great Uncles etc already gone. Actually I might see if my FIL is available.

Wilfred · 06/07/2006 15:12

someone had got FIL as well.

Reginald · 06/07/2006 15:12

My grandfathers were called Reginald and Bernard. Good, proper, solid, reliable names.

Neville · 06/07/2006 15:12

Who the bloody hell has got Adrian (my FIL)?

Wilfred · 06/07/2006 15:13

Neville - that is my FIL as well. I just tried to get it and it was gone.

Neville · 06/07/2006 15:13

my grandfathers were William David and Thomas William - extremely sensible names

DHs were called Howard and William

Reginald · 06/07/2006 15:13

I feel the need to wear a cardigan now.

Neville · 06/07/2006 15:14

Reginald · 06/07/2006 15:15

What do the owners of such sensible names actually talk about?

Neville · 06/07/2006 15:16

erm racing, cars, golf, gardening?

Reginald · 06/07/2006 15:17

Ah yes. My runner beans are coming along nicely, although I had a spot of bother with blackfly on my broad beans

Keith · 06/07/2006 15:17

this as my first boyfriend's name .
oddly enough, he was fabulous at oral sex.

Reginald · 06/07/2006 15:18

I had a boyfriend called Keith too: he shit the bed

Frederick · 06/07/2006 15:18

Harold's up for grabs now reminded me too much of harold from neighbours.

Raymond · 06/07/2006 15:19

Keith ! Reginald !

Has anyone seen any especially fine cathedrals recently?

schneebly · 06/07/2006 15:19

lol - my DS2 is called Alan after my brother (DH's choice!} and it is strange how children with 'old man names just grow into them!

Neville · 06/07/2006 15:21

I lost my virginity to a Kevin

(now all the people whose DPs/DHs are called Kevin will tell me I'm horrible)

Keith Chegwin was my first pin up . I was 6 though

Harold · 06/07/2006 15:21

I'm back to harold now as someone's got fred and thought they were too similar. I'm getting a bit obsessed with this now!

bertram · 06/07/2006 15:23

Harold · 06/07/2006 15:24

bertram · 06/07/2006 15:24

I really like those corduroy slippers I got for my birthday, they go really well with my aran sweater and polyester slacks. I know it's a bit hot in this weather, but I do like to look smart.

bertram · 06/07/2006 15:25

Harold · 06/07/2006 15:26
