Hi

OP posts:
mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 15:01

me too its just a trust thing for me i would hate it if they come around and i was out or had to leave them too it, i would not lke that i have jsut got a gardener and think i might get somjeone to do some ironing, as i do some work from home when i get time, so that would give me more time,

julie4travel · 11/07/2006 15:05

i work from home so would basically leave them too it whilst working. sometimes i think i am too trust worthy for people actually! or is it gulliable! knowing my luck i would have stuff nicked and everything

cyan · 11/07/2006 15:44

god i cant keep up with this bloody thread. its the same thing regurgitated over and over again. why do people take things so personally on here i dont get it, i dont comprehend why it always breaks out into the same argument over BK time and time again? oh well you cant please everyone.

julie> good luck for TS when you go.

yummy> you arent going on fri are you?

where are yacks and thumbs have not heard from them in ages! yacks has that baby come out yet !!!

hellooo tiger!!!

cyan · 11/07/2006 15:45

mimi well done on rileys job btw you must be so proud, he is doing v well bless him!

julie4travel · 11/07/2006 16:00

hi cyan- thanks hope they take on both my kids! fingers crossed

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 16:38

princes - be careful going with an agency becos they are non sole rep - as for eg if you applied to UA in nov when they open their books and liked them and they accepted your lo you would have to leves the non sole rep b4 UA would take you on. but if you could go with a couple of non- sole reps that would be fine. i think izzy did that and it worked for her.

didn't see you say if you've applied to MOT jnr they replied the next day to me. what about Childsplay - i liked them.

cant belevie a doctor would charge £35 just to sign a bit paper that puts another £50 on your yearly costs.

when B&B were replying to me (to say NO) their e-mails were going into my spam so i kept hassling them they must have thought god dont she understand no lol.

good luck i know its a personal choice but it is good to get other mums views. (i think)

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 16:52

thanks cyan , i am so so proud of him, i he is such a pleasure, i have just started planning for his first birthday party, it gonna be such fun i cannot wait

princessmel · 11/07/2006 17:58

mysonsmummy> MOT said no as dd age group is full. Childsplay said yes but as I've spent so long deciding and faffing ,the time in which to reply is up. It was only about a week though. I think I will wait for BB, Kids and Bubblegum and try UA again in nov. I agree that it helps to talk to other parents. I wouldn't have a clue otherwise.

tavalana · 11/07/2006 18:21

My ds2 is going to john lewis casting but not on friday, yummymummy21.
i'm still waiting to hear from the agencies for ds1, how long do they normally take to reply? bruce and brown was really quick when we applied for ds2.

marymay · 11/07/2006 18:28

hi .can anyone help please .can anyone tell me a website that tells you how much parking cost in different parts of london my dd has a casting tomorrow and i am trying to work out what will cost the most getting the train or driving . thanks

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 18:37

princess - that sounds a good idea. ive heard so many mums on here say i wish id waited to get the reply back from the others b4 deciding. MOT said that to me and B&B said they had someone exactly the same. i just thought it was a nice way to say thanks but no thanks - so cynical i know. why not e-mail childsplay and say something has come up and you will get back to them. i did that with Ak - the lady was lovely and said she'd keep it open but get back in touch when i want. its better than not replying at all. good idea about UA they see loads of kids over 4/5 days and you dont feel like being on a conveyor belt. they have someone to do hair and wash faces. lots of toys for kids to play with and massive cbeebies screen. it was so relaxing for ds. when we were finshied they said dont rush off he can play with toys. also b4 photos go on site they get bit of retouching - wow the world of modelling starts so young! lol good luck whatever you decide.

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 18:37

mary - where is it near one of us may live near there?

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 18:38

sorry you coould put a note on the main baord - saying who lives near xxxxx they would tell you roughly.

YummyMummy21 · 11/07/2006 18:48

Hi-Ya, nope DD casting is tomorrow afternoon. Its for their christmas stuff.

YummyMummy21 · 11/07/2006 19:16

YummyMummy21 · 11/07/2006 19:17

17.5 months

mrratty · 11/07/2006 19:20

I'm taking her after school as it's sports day and she also missed 2 days last week modelling and left early today for a casting! She is 5.

tavalana · 11/07/2006 19:53

it may sound odd but someone asked me and got me thinking, what did you write to the agencies when you applied at them?

tavalana · 11/07/2006 19:55

we're also going tomorrow both me with my ds2 and my sister with her dd

2ManyPimms · 11/07/2006 20:09

tav - I only wrote that I was attaching DS's photos for their consideration and that I hoped to hear from them shortly and TIA (thanks in advance).

Good luck with the JL castings! Christmas stuff already? Where has the year gone????

2ManyPimms · 11/07/2006 20:12

Nuts.

The photos of DS from the shoot where he had his accident weren't used. Just checked the John Lewis website and the same background model is used but the little boy is different.
