oh see how well I can procrastinate when I need to!!

zippitippitoes · 08/06/2006 14:42

I think there are pros and cons to having the dull but practical options as in some respects they are easier to find via the search engines but they are not always the easiest to remember..

katierocket · 08/06/2006 14:47

Depends how you're going to get most of your work. If you think it's the type of thing you'd get a lot of people searching for then you need to make sure your website is up the top of the rankings.

Swish of the Website

Big Production

Greasepaint Stinks

Moon Over the Main Hall

School Play Resource Site or SPuRS - I would suggest School Arts Resource Site which would get lots of hits but maybe not

Putting on the Play

This Wooden WWW

"It's the classes that got small"

Teaching Arts or TArts

Another thought, is it region specific?
ie should that be included somewhere?

Beetroot · 08/06/2006 18:51

it will be uk wide and regions will be in the website, so don't think it has to be in the title

morningpaper · 08/06/2006 20:52

Aha you need Morningpaper's Name Your Business form... rummages... here it is:

Who exactly are my target customers?

What problems do I help solve for them?

What words or phrases appeal to them?

What are the three to five most attractive benefits my business brings to customers?

Are there word pictures or metaphors that communicate what I do that would be relevant to my customers?

What names do my competitors go by?

What kind of name would differentiate me in the marketplace?

GeorginaA · 08/06/2006 20:54

Something with Barnum in the title? (thinking all the world is a show... okay, maybe not)

GeorginaA · 08/06/2006 20:54

I like JanH's suggestion Grin

JanH · 08/06/2006 20:55

Thanks, GA!

Possibly a tad long, do you think?

Beetroot · 08/06/2006 20:56

Long? Long? nah!

OP posts:
fob · 08/06/2006 20:57

morningpaper · 08/06/2006 20:58

all your ideas are a bit dull

you need something short and funky and a bit random

like

monkeymonkey

what about spunkymonkey

fob · 08/06/2006 21:00

CircleView.com ??

I DO like class act though.. that's brilliant.

morningpaper · 08/06/2006 21:02

classact is good but all variations are taken already

JanH · 08/06/2006 21:03

If you want memorable and snappy how about beetroottheatre.co.uk?
