Ooh yes, Fullmoonfiend, Swish of the Curtain - fab book. Haven't read it in years. Really ought to get a copy for DD.

Beetroot · 08/06/2006 14:07

OP posts:
JackieNo · 08/06/2006 14:08

Bit older than she is at the moment, I reckon - 8/9-ish (and older)?

unicorn · 08/06/2006 14:18

Stageschool?

JanH · 08/06/2006 14:19

\link{http://www.swishofthecurtain.co.uk/\Swish of the Curtain} - drama school, Bournemouth Grin

JackieNo · 08/06/2006 14:20

Do they sell the book, though, JanHGrin?

JanH · 08/06/2006 14:22

Following on from Blue Door I thought of Open Door but of course there is a youth theatre called \link{http://www.youth-music-theatre.org.uk/The_Open_Door.html\The Open Door} too.

I'm thinking dull-but-specific might be the way to go, beety...

unicorn · 08/06/2006 14:22

is the website primarily for the teaching/education profession to check out?
It could make a difference with word searches iykwim.

JanH · 08/06/2006 14:22

(btw beety, I am saving all these sites for future ref!)

Beetroot · 08/06/2006 14:23

yes primarily for teachers but parents and kids will be able to access it as well.

Jan I think you might be right

I think spacedonkey's are the best suggestions purely because of search engine optimisation (getting to the top!) etc

Beetroot · 08/06/2006 14:24

i was hoping you might be Wink

I know -

www.sitefullofreallyusefulandhelpfulinformationabouttheatresforschools.co.uk

Beetroot · 08/06/2006 14:25

I am going to come up with 10 -20 shortlist which you can vote on.

but that won't happen until tomorrow ...or later as I am in meetings all day tomorrow!

OP posts:
katierocket · 08/06/2006 14:25

oh and you don't just have to have one, you could register a few, point them all at the same site but just actively promote one. make sure whoever is doing your site understands about search engine optimisation - it's really important these days.

unicorn · 08/06/2006 14:37

theatre-arts-for(4) schools
performance-arts for(4) schools
drama-arts for(4) schools

etc etc adinfinitum.

(do I get the most persistent prize? Wink)
