It flipping well isn't!

I would have posted this on my original thread but can't find the damn thing, sorry Blush

I have to get up at 2am to work, and I didn't even feel so sick with nerves on my wedding day, it was an awful feeling.... hopefully my confidence will kick in for tonights graveyard shift....

You get callers who want to do awful things and you have to hang up, you get really rude people saying you're sh*te who hang up in the middle of your conversation... you get people pestering for your address and you're not allowed to hang up just dissaude them... and then you get hilarious weirdos! But then I couldn't think of anything much to say and my calls lasted about 7 minutes each... and each one was as nerve-wracking as the first!

Is anyone else who was interested in the chatline thing working yet?

(Please let tonight be better than last night!)

I can totally see why doing something like this would be soul destroying more so when you really need the money, I think the appeal of homeworking always is particularly tempting when you have a tight schedule juggling children and running the home. But these talents are a useful tool when getting a job elsewhere. Lidl or Aldi are offering £8.50-9.00 per hour with part time hours available and ones that could be fitted into school times, or there are numerous jobs available in schools which would also fit with having a family. I considered this job and other home based jobs, and after speaking to a couple of friends who have taken home working jobs in the past, their feeling was there is no escape because your always at work!!! Good luck and I hope you find something that meets on income expectations and is suited to your circumstances.

I don t think you have lost your self respect I think its the need for such lines to cater for the demand. No acting required you are a voice stimulating their "fantasies". Ultimately if you could make a mint every one would be doing this.

I don't think it's degrading. I Think You Should be Applauded for doing what you have to do to support your family it's actually something I'm trying to get into myself it's not an easy job it takes guts, bravery and the type of person who will do whatever it takes for the family ,I don't think there are many jobs where you can earn that kind of cash while taking care of your kids and running a home,I'm all ears if anyone knows another job that fits that description (personally i'm Disabled So the suggestion of an Ironing job is out for me ),
so well done on doing what you need to for your family, when you are picking up that phone remember your past the worst first day

I do chatline work isn't that bad bu money is pretty poor if don't get the callers ringing in for a decent amount of time. this fits in with my lifestyle. surely this lady doesn't only have to do the 2am shift the system is a 24hr one.
