I said to my doctors that i had a letter from bk for them to stamp and they still did'nt want to know, told me to go else where private. But now waiting for senior practitioner to phone to tell me if he will do it. I am so angry. I even said that i will pay for them to stamp the letter or write me aletter.

Mumjane.. Not so much problems, just not to sure if to accept scallywags, the costs seem so high, i gather they are fairly good but wanna make sure as it's a lot of money if not. May try some others mentioned on here first to though as they are only ones i've gone for at the mo

It's 100 deposit, thats for folio session and photos on a disk to keep, then another 175 for the subscription fee and entry into the book and website

we come from southampton, it takes an hour and 12 minutes to waterloo, so not to bad.

what is it about bk that gets people so wound up i really don't understand it, there are other agencies that people are on that haven't received work. if you look at all the agencies credits bk do seem to have a very long list and by law they can't print a name of a company that hasn't used them so they must have done all the jobs they state,if you look at the fab ik site they have no credits listed!!!! personally if i was new to all this i be looking at the work an agency has done because to be honest you'd be silly to take one persons advice on who's good and who's not cause what agency is good for one may possibly not be good for another,it's all down to luck at the end of the day and all the well known agencies all get represented at most castings any way so does it really matter which agency you are with.

mimi-just loooked on the site, i personally dont like it, only because they seem to do everything yuou can imagine, acotrs, models, children, look a likes, comedians etc so they dont really specialise in anything....??? Also, they have 111 babies! thats a lot of babies!!!!!

perfumelady - you talk sense! I say go with who is best for you, and then if u dont like them after the year or whatever move on!!! if u dont get work, thats unlucky, if u do, well done!!! I dont understand what it is about BK either, from what I can see it is just that people havent had work??? what is their website address and where does it say aboutt he work they have done?? thanks!

the reason my sis has gone to dti about ES isnt just coz she hasnt received work, it is because she has had a lot of other problems with them and people in the agency...

Srawberymilkshake... My friends children were with them, I think she was happy with them, but they did'nt give her a lot of notice, She did get work though.

i dont know about scallywags...sorry!! however, i dont suppose it matters how many children are on the books if they are busy for that age group, but 11 for BMA for babies probably up to about 2 is a bit excessive....!

strawberrymilksake - trust me, u will find that all agencies charge something, whether they say, admin fee, model book fee, website fee, inclusion fee, rep fee etc etc etc, u dont get something for nothing....and i wouldnt expect to!

mimi/perfumelady - yes ur right, ive just looked on bk site (thanks mimi!) and there is a long list, and i know that they cannot list them unless its true, as I used to work as a legal secretary in my heyday!!!!!!! also, it says about the dti being regulated or somthing, so i take it they must be???
