having a nightmare sending a application off to inspired kidz, not sure why my file is tiny unless their mail box is full, just got a posititve from little rascals, whats the low down on them, i just feel so concerned about all this so much conflicting advice on everything, etc... i just cancelled my cheque to bizzykidz as i am just really unsure now,,, is anyone here with truely scrumptious,,, i know they recruit in may,,, do they charge,, any advice would be great thanks

jinny c123 - i have found this chatroom really helpful for me as its a big thing trying to find the right agency. I have only been on line for a couple of weeks yet would rather no any good or bad feedback on agencies to help me with my decision as I am new to all this my son only been modelling 1 year. Sorry you feel that way.

mimi, IK can be difficult to get hold of. when they invited ds for an interview it took ages to get thru to them. They have a lovely website and gorgeous pics so hang in there! Don't know about other one though..

mimi- well i have had a lot of nos from like the big ones such as mot, kids london. i am choosing between norrie carr, scallywags again, rascals and waiting to hear from bubblegum (tues next week i should here) urban angelz and truly scrumptious are not recruiting between May.

I had an info pack from childs play who have accepted them yet i dont know if its just me yet i dont like their website! i have illiminated sandra reynolds and power model management in norwich for no particular reasons apart from some people haven't heard good reports on power so i would rather steer clear as i have the choice

mimi - i emailed them and never heard anything and haven't chased them. I chased Bubblegum and it was lucky i did as they hadn't received my email. Further down the thread is an email address for Bubblegum. I rang the lady who seemed very nice and she told me all new models go to a panel once a week (the next one being Tues) and she would let me know. I know its strange they don't have a website (although she told me they are in process of building one) yet my friends kids have been with them since birth and had lots of work tv, photoshoots etc. Its always better when you can have recommendations!

Kids London were quick they were one of the few I couldn't do online and my photos were returned within the week.

i just emailed the norm with photos, age name address and height which was fine. put a note on email please can you advise you have received this as they did reply on my second one to say they have. she says they are normally quite quick receiving the applications and saying yes or no- Good Luck you may be waiting like me on Tues!

just sent it and it did not go too big, of a message its mad... these agencies should have much bigger mail boxes, but i guess they get so many messages and thwey get full real quick,,, well i do not think my message has got to inspired kidz, as i keep getting returns back, but do not want to send anymore messages, as they may b getting them, and then , i have sent them tons of messages, and they will think i am a pushy mummy lol,,,, this is so confusing, see it think my son is cute, and i am hoping these agencies do too, but, i guess they would tell me that is i am parting with £200,, ah i think it owuld be easier to give up

Mimi - I think that we have to be selective in this day and age at least you can then get the choice from the ones that say yes and you dont need to rush into it. My son loves having his photos taken etc and if he didn't i wouldn't bother.The way i look at it is whatever he earns now will be for his future. It will be nice for him to get his own little nest egg to pit towards his first car or house so i don't see any harm in it. Let me know how you get on. I am mainly waiting on Bubblegum next week so fingers crossed.

mimi - just spoke to rascals about the assesment appointment and their last one is Mon next week at 5pm then they aren't taking on till October/ November time.

Shame as thats not practical for me as I move Fri next week and need to spend my time packing!

they have such little compasity and my camera is 5m pixels so they cannot receive them

Linda at Bubblegum just emailed me back demand for their age group is high and competitive so a no for them with her at this time. Never mind. She suggested i stay with Scallywags which was kind to say stay with someone else.
