lanismum · 18/03/2006 12:35

umm, not sure, i think i saw some other converse on the same stand that went up to an 8, so id guess that the batman ones did too.
patzcrafty-i would be exactly the same, i would be handing the magazines out like flyers Grin

lanismum · 18/03/2006 12:36

yep, id do that too, god help me if shes ever on the cover of junior, it will cost me a fortune Grin

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 12:39

lol!!!

yackertyyack · 18/03/2006 12:48

ohhh errr.....moveing swiftly on....
Tink > don't think it really matters what they ask you at castings as it all depends what the babies look like when they play the tapes back - your little one has as much chance of being chosen as everyone else. And just remember...its as hard to get chosen for a casting as it is to get the job!!! Try and forget about it over the weekend and then start the 'waiting' on monday!
patz > If the mothercare catalogue wasn't as heavy I would have a copy in my bag!!!
Hope everyone is ok....... I have been diagnosed with a kidney infection and I am in agony...oh the joys of being pregnant ay!!!

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 12:50

lol, if she gets on the telly, how am i gonna carry one of those around

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 12:52

i have just finished a course of antibiotics for that..sooooo painful. had the flu and then ended up with that to totally finish me off. ok now though. once you get antibiotics it eases up in 24 hrs or so,

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 12:53

remember to drink loads of water, cranberry juice is good, i had two cartons a day. cant stand the taste but knew i had to and it seemed to help

tinkerbellchelle · 18/03/2006 12:59

ahh yakerty thank you :) Its just I dont really know 100% how these castings work Grin not a professional LOL :) He looked so cute on the camera bouncing up and down then all of sudden when DP was talking with man saying name, feeds etc he came out with DADADADA it was cute! LOL :) we had a nice morning out so thats all that counts :)

good luck and like u said monday start the waiting game again :)
We're having friends round 2nite and DP has just brought a new poker kit so think we'll be having a game :)

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 13:07

every casting ive been to has been different. sometimes they just take a bit of film of their faces sometimes they ask questions and soemtimes they dont. it depends what they want i suppose. one i went to they took my dd in on her own in her buggy and another woman took another baby in with her. they were in 5 mins and then came back.

tinkerbellchelle · 18/03/2006 13:09

imagine the email I applied to was : [email protected]
however we applied in dec and heard nothing till march 7 when linda got in touch about putting LO forward for a job ( wasn't successful ) and then she got him the casting we went to friday.

Good Luck :)

Imagine · 18/03/2006 13:11

tink - thanks. :) That's very helpful. So do you think email applications are okay? Or should I write to them by post? WDYT?

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 13:11

where are bubblegum based, anyone know

Imagine · 18/03/2006 13:13

patz - the address I have for them is in Slough.

patzcrafty · 18/03/2006 13:14

ive never heard of them before.....have they got a website

tinkerbellchelle · 18/03/2006 13:15

I think either way is fine, but to get a quicker reply Im thinking maybe writing would be better. I had completly forgot about applying to them cos I hadnt heard anything. maybe try calling them and see which they would prefer :)

PAT > they are based in Bucks

Imagine · 18/03/2006 13:15

yackertyyack - Hope you feel better soon!

tinkerbellchelle · 18/03/2006 13:15

Imagine · 18/03/2006 13:16
