tinkerbellchelle · 16/03/2006 19:46

alliebaba · 16/03/2006 19:47

7's who are you?? haven't seen your name on here before Wink

Imagine · 16/03/2006 19:47

Hello,

I found this great thread through a google search. I have a 3 yo ds who was a baby model with Scallywags. He did 1 magazine shoot with them when he was 6 months old (which was great fun) then we moved abroad. We are now back in the UK (ca. 90 min. west of London) and are looking into agencies. I have applied my ds to a few and so far he has offers of contracts/ representation from Little Acorns in London and Elliott Brown in Oxford.

I'd LOVE to hear any feedback you experienced mums may have on these agencies. The lady I spoke to at EB was very friendly. I am not sure about LA, they seem well-established but I have seen a few negative things about them online? What do you think?

tinkerbellchelle · 16/03/2006 19:47

oopps meant cute not sute LOL!

alliebaba · 16/03/2006 19:50

hi imagine. Think little acorns have been mentioned on here and wasn't good i'm afraid. Think some of the other mums have good opinions of EB... There should be a list on this thread of all good agencies. My 2 are with Alphabet Kidz and MOT Models, they have websites to look at...

alliebaba · 16/03/2006 19:50

blimey, how many times can i use the word 'good' in one thread

Imagine · 16/03/2006 19:55

alliebaba - thanks! I will search for more info on LA on this thread... it is soo long, lol.

Are you happy with the 2 agencies your kids are signed with?

7up · 16/03/2006 19:57

allie, have you forgotten meSadmended computer and mended phone so im contactable in every way now!

alliebaba · 16/03/2006 19:58

hurray.. will start a new thread to celebrate

Imagine,,, there have been about 12 million of these threads (they're all the same as well ha ha!)

Not been doing this long. DD has had nothing (just turned 1) and DS had first casting for M&S on tues

Imagine · 16/03/2006 20:03

allie - good luck to your ds, that is exciting! Which agency is he with? AK or MOT?

alliebaba · 16/03/2006 20:04

MOT, he didn't get it though :(

Imagine · 16/03/2006 20:04

Now I will have to figure out how to do a search for all the other threads, lol. ;)

Imagine · 16/03/2006 20:05

That is too bad he didn't get it. There is always the next one, right? :)

7up · 16/03/2006 20:18

imagine, allie is one those pushy mummies so she'll get a job in the end he he he heGrin

alliebaba · 16/03/2006 20:24

crap! i started you a new thread as well, how do you delete it???

Imagine · 16/03/2006 20:36

LOL, that's why I like this thread, the mums here do NOT seem like the pushy mummy type.

tinkerbellchelle · 16/03/2006 20:39

No we're not pushy here - Im just straightenin reece's hair and then he cant go to sleep until he perfects that smile... but no not pushy! lol Grin

lol... the little monster got weighed 2day he's piled on the weight in the last week lol! little porkie chops bless him!

7up · 16/03/2006 20:48

wish liam would gain weight hes been stuck at 20lb for monthsSad

tinkerbellchelle · 16/03/2006 20:50

ahhh bless him :( my friends little one has stayed at a weight for ages now and no matter how much he eats he just stays the same.

How old is liam?

7up · 16/03/2006 20:53

hes 17months tink, he is on a terrible unfattening diet coz of the dairy intolerance, bless im, even my older ds said last night "yuk you can see his ribs!"

tinkerbellchelle · 16/03/2006 20:57

oh bless him :( Im sure one day he'll probably fill out more, like you said with a dairy intolerance its probably not as easy cos its not as fattening.

Just sorted out where we have to go 2moro for casting :) not till gone 11 so not too early :) gives me plenty of time to get there :)

I know mykidsmum and yakkerty have castings 2moro so good luck to them :) yakkerty... who is yours for?

I think it seems strange for pepperami to be casting babies for an advert? I can only think of the funny pepperami in the blender for there adverts. Im sure though there will be lots of competition but it will be a day out:)

7up · 16/03/2006 21:05

are you nervous tink?how long will you be travelling i cant remember where you are. is your dp about to go with you or is he on nights at the mo

mykidsmum · 16/03/2006 21:05

Advice on what to wear for castings, we are always told something simple and plain, no stripes or loud patterns. I will dress my ds in something casual, jeans and a shirt probably.HTH
