hi allie, glad casting went well, i was picturing el with his hands in his pockets posing, very cute!hope he gets the job. my computer still taking ages to do anything, im gona ring my mates hubby tonight and ask him to explain over the phone. was gona ring you but the battery just died on my phone as well!

Hope everyone and there little ones are ok.....my ickle man has been making his daddy a birthday card at nursery and apparently LOVED the green paint!!!!! so I am expecting to see a mini version of the incredible hulk when i pick him up!!!!!Grin

tired.....according to NEXT they use - Truly Scrumptious, B&B, Scallywags and D K Models and apparently they only do up to 12mths in the UK as older than that they use foreign models.

just received email from MOT, my ds didn;t get picked... as i said nevermind!!!

also looking forward to pick up my ds from nursery!! so, will you also get a card for your birthday? or you had!!

i think he will make me a mother's day card!! Smile

Tiger, I am just off new bond street in amongst the 'posh' shops!!! Used to work near Tower of London until we moved!! Am looking foward to a homemade mothers day card!! And will try and drop hints for a birthday card - his nursery is really lovely which makes it easier for me!! Althought I am only back at work for a short while I think I will still send him a couple of sessions a week as he seem to really enjoy it!

Tired, I only really know of DK models - try the ALBA models website as they have details of agencies in each area.

yes.....it is a nightmare although to be honest I was getting really P*ssed off today as all I wanted was a card shop and could I find one....could I heck! 50,000 coffee shops thought!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Allie am crossing all my fingers and toes, and so is Charlie!!!

Ok now Im going to sound like a right old fart, but was listening to Radio 2 in the car today, and they announced that the search is on to find a lead actress for the role in the adaptation of one of Phillip Pulmans novels, you know the guy who wrote the Amber Spyglass or whatever it is called. The girl must be aged 9-13 years, and does not have to have any acting experience necessary. Need to ring BBC Information Line on 08700 100 200 and they will give details of the castings which if I remember correctly are in Cambridge, Kendle, Oxford and somewhere else but please dont take that as gospel! I was thinking Perfumelady, Marymay, Totally, and possibly a cpl of others may be interested (I know a cpl of you's kids go to drama classes, forgive me if im wrong!!!). Castings take place next month.

Yackerty, I then switched onto XFM, and they were banging on about the launch of their sister station so I imagine your little mans advert will be circulated v soon!

Yack also had a look at UA thing after you mentioned ds being on there, and i think its funny that they mention his casting for xfm but not the fact he was used in the baby halloween book!?

cyan thanks for that , his dark materials!, this subject is buzzing on not a pushy mum, but no one is giving any way any crucial information so this is great thanks. the gossip is that this is a major advertising stunt cause this could be almost as big as harry potter, mind you i can't see it but hey who am i to say that.

ali heard from a lady whose ds was at casting yesturday she got a call today with a maybe!! didn't know they did that.

Cyan.....so far we haven't seen any ad's although we are a long way from manchester!! But a couple of people who live/work that way are looking out for them - it is quite possible that they may not use them!!! you know what these things are like!! I am with you on the Radio 2 thing- they sometimes play some good music.....god we sound really 'mummsy'
I really like the way UA do an update of what jobs there kids have done - I find it really interesting and at least you know they are getting work. Hope you and the little man are OK???

Ps: A casting Company is looking for a 4 month old baby for a shoot tomorrow if anyone has one that young??????? Let me know and I will post details!
