Will MN HQ be able to do anything?

Thread Here

Although its not a nice thought I can only deduce from no communication that I have been ripped off for my wedding bits that I sold in good faith at a much reduced price for a mumsnetter.

I also out of the goodness of my stupid heart sent her the necklace I wore on my day for her soemthing borrowed.

I cant "believe" this is intentional as she was so grateful in the beginning.

But countless and emails and threads on here have turned nothing up

Will MN be able to do anything?

pucca · 12/02/2006 18:55

sorry but a funny image came into my head when I read "I feel like a tit" - such a funny expression!

a good lesson for all about trusting on the internet.

well, you're a titty fish!

tamum · 12/02/2006 19:00

NdP, given that it was sandwiched between posts by cod it looked like model typing

Beetroot · 12/02/2006 19:01

i do find the whole thing rather strange and bemusing. SC is obviosuly onto a scam imo. surely she has not already apid £180 ( two lots of £6o missing apparently + the recent paypal)

jampots · 12/02/2006 19:01

pecka - hope you get your necklace back.

Come on SC - give the girl teh SD number so she can at least feel like its progressing.

NomDePlume · 12/02/2006 19:01

lol

Sorry coddy, for taking your name in vain [hangs head in shame]

Various MNers havent paid me for little bits like videos or books. Admittedly nothing like this!

Flossam · 12/02/2006 19:05

Really hoping this gets sorted.

NomDePlume · 12/02/2006 19:06

If SC did send 2 sets of postal orders and they got lost in the post, then she can claim them back via the P.O.'s compensation thing provided she kept hold of the stubs with the numbers on. The P.O. can check whether the postal orders have been cashed, if not then they'll reimburse SC. She certainly won't lose £180 through any fault of the Post Office or of freshstart.
