Although its not a nice thought I can only deduce from no communication that I have been ripped off for my wedding bits that I sold in good faith at a much reduced price for a mumsnetter.

I also out of the goodness of my stupid heart sent her the necklace I wore on my day for her soemthing borrowed.

I cant "believe" this is intentional as she was so grateful in the beginning.

But countless and emails and threads on here have turned nothing up

Will MN be able to do anything?

DH only just received a 'special delivery' letter that was posted on Tuesday (according to the postmark), so hopefully it's just a case of posties lazyitis....

Hey.. not wanting to stir... but everyone keeps posting on this.. and... well.. feeling a bit awkward for SC as it must be awful for her reading this continuing thread when she has SAID she has been dealing with all kinds of (unspecfied) cr*p which has been so awful that it has led her to be seen to be letting FS down in what everyone said was a most uncharacteristic way. Isn't it time to stop adding fuel to the fire? She is back in contact with FS now!

no she sent the necklace as aloan, to be the 'something borrowed'. She did this as a favour becasue she was so excited that spring chicken was wearing the same dress as her.

i sent the necklace out of kindness to a fellow mumsnetter.

a gesture which i feel i have to retract now as my fingers have been burnt and its now more important to me to get the necklace back safe and sound

and you know what? ive had some shit as well but i dont think its reason to completely excuse someone of ALL responsibility, it certainly hasnt stopped springchicken from posting on mumsent about what she should wear to her next social occassion the other day.

NOT being nasty at all but all this ohhhh what must springchicken be going through doesnt cut it anymore. i dont think she has been going through whatever it is for the whole of the last few months ive been waiting.

and FWIW she did say the other day that it was being sent special delivery the next day.

also, can i add - i fail to see how wedding accessories can be "completely forgotten" about. I cant believe that with a wedding approaching in the summer there hasnt been dress fittings, arrangements to make, menus to finalise. God i couldnt stop thinking about mine it used to do my head in and everyone was always asking.

I was polite and quiet about it all for as long as I possibly could but now I just feel like a tit

Although saying that if that had been the case from the start there would be no thread!!

I believe SC was shamed into paying up so for this reason the thread had a purpose to play - a shame it had to be like that but hey

FS - I am just so angry on your behalf. I have no sympathy for sc whatsoever and won't apologise for it. She has taken the p* for too long with this. She has paid for stuff hasn't she? So just waiting for necklace. Fingers crossed that necklace arrives soon.
Also poor zephyrcat never got paid for painting she did so I think it is hardly a one off.

I just think this is a hrsh reminder of how you really don't know who you can trust at all
Poor fs has had to learn the hard way.

I'm sorry to but in ladies, fresh start i just wanted to mention something to you hun. As a former police officer I am obviously experienced in legal matters and given that your deal with sc has been effectively documented on here you could actually contact the police if this issue isn't resolved. She could be charged with 'obtaining goods by deception'.
