here's a question for you ladies, In your next life would you still have children if you could remember your experience of motherhood from this life?????

expatinscotland · 03/02/2006 22:37

FrayedKnot · 03/02/2006 22:37

Yes, and I would start earlier, and have more (than I probably will have).

jco · 03/02/2006 22:39

Oh yes. And would have done it earlier and had more too.
I'm loving being a mum more than ever having just had no 2.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 03/02/2006 22:41

I would have started earlier and had more too!

MarsOnLife · 03/02/2006 22:41

Frizbetheexpansionset · 03/02/2006 22:41

alexsmum · 03/02/2006 22:42

Caligula · 03/02/2006 22:43

Oh yes and totally agree with those who would have started earlier and had more.

Milliways · 03/02/2006 22:43

Only if I can get these ones back again

lucy5 · 03/02/2006 22:43

I too would have started earlier and had more.

JanH · 03/02/2006 22:44

My SIL asked us something like this when we only had 2 little DDs and I'm afraid I said no - DH was really angry with me, but it wasn't an expression of lack of enjoyment or love, just the hostages to fortune angle - I think once you have children you can never relax completely ever again.

(However having started I thought I might as well finish, hence the 4 we have now )

jco · 03/02/2006 22:46

thats how i feel Jan, i don't regret having my kids for a single second, if i could go back in time i'd still have them. just in my next life i'd like to try something different. managing to get out of the house without weetebix in my hair would be a start

OP posts:
jco · 03/02/2006 22:48

actually, just getting out of the house would be good!!

WideWebWitch · 03/02/2006 22:48

yeah

Aloha · 03/02/2006 22:50

OMG YES! YES! YES!
I say I would have had them earlier, then then I wouldn't have the two that I have, and they are so beautiful and wonderful. Maybe I would just find my husband earlier and force him to have more children with me!
Oh my, no children, what a nightmare.

jco · 03/02/2006 22:50

think i should join the bad mothers club

OP posts:
Aloha · 03/02/2006 22:51

OK, I'm 42, Dh is 47, what's stopping the rest of you from having more?

festiveface · 03/02/2006 22:53

yeah but would have them when older

jco · 03/02/2006 22:56

to be honest i would have more, But you have to be having sex, unless god wants to intervene with some kind of imaculate conception

jenkel · 03/02/2006 23:15

Yes and earlier.

I had a career and never felt that it really suited me, didnt enjoy it that much.

But motherhood, I love it and for once actually think I've found something that I'm quite good at.

MerlinsBeard · 03/02/2006 23:16

yes but noit earlier(i am 24 and have 2) i would buy a house and get married first tho. (stuck renting and skint!)
