What nonsense girl, a pg test at 9dpo has only a teeny chance of picking up a positive. If your temps are still up that's a really good sign.

ShaggingWithIntent · 01/06/2011 13:23

Hmmmm - temps still up for now....... when should I test again? It was strange I had a really good feeling right up until yesterday but then all of a sudden I just felt that we'd not been successful. Really strange.

Having a short LP is really irritating as my "reccommended test date" is always after AF arrives!!!

AmandaCooper · 01/06/2011 18:53

Test as often as you like, as long as you don't break the bank!

ShaggingWithIntent · 01/06/2011 18:55

Internet cheapies - 40 for £7 from Amazon! Will try to resist for a few more days though as I'm not late yet!!!

AmandaCooper · 01/06/2011 19:08

Lol you're not tempted to do one in the morning then for our entertainment? Drat!

squirrel007 · 01/06/2011 19:31

jbells really sorry to hear he is acting like that. I agree with the others that it's appalling behaviour on his part - leaving the mother of your children when the baby is not yet 2 weeks old is so selfish Angry But ultimately you have to do what's right for you, and it's hard to separate from anyone never mind when you have children, so I can completely understand you wanting to take him back if he changed his mind. I hope you can have some time to think things over and decide what you want

quod the weekend away sounds lovely, just my sort of camping ;)

Amanda sorry about the job interview :( But is this good news for TTC?

nannyl the wedding sounds very nice, but sad to hear about your dad - he is so young to be facing serious health problems. I am sure that whatever you and your sister decide will be for the best.

swi I got a negative test when I tested too early, and thought it was over for that month too. But you still have a few days, so it's not over yet!

Hi to everyone else!

AmandaCooper · 01/06/2011 19:56

Squirrel it is indeed good news for TTC. And much though I hate my job, it pays the bills and I've got five years good will there for when I do have to balance work with the demands of small children.

I've just been to the supermarket and stocked up on omega 3-6-9 and grapefruit juice. If only I can persuade DH...

ShaggingWithIntent · 01/06/2011 20:44

Ooooooh. Can you maybe not discuss it until he brings it up and merrily shag away as though the thought hadn't entered your mind?? In my experience, men are quite dim about cycles (DH asked last night why I hadn't shoved s pillow under my hips to keep the sperm in..... His GP told him not to worry about timings as it's not important so he thought conception was possible at 10DPO.....!!!)

I suppose I could test tomorrow. Why the he'll not!!! 6:30am it's temperature and PIAPDII time!!!

bebejones · 01/06/2011 21:04

Ooooooooooooh been a while since we had a PG/BFP watch! (I got a BFP with DD on day 11 (on a Clear blue test)) It is not over yet though, don't write the month off just yet! FX that the BD dash worked! Wink

AC - mega bummer about the job! Idiots!! Their loss! But yay for TTC :o

JBells - OMG, there is nothing to say really. Hope you are ok, just cannot believe what an immature prick he is being!

Nannyl - So sorry to hear about your Dad. :( Heartbreaking for you all.

Quodlibet · 01/06/2011 21:09

PIAPDII! PIAPDII! PIAPDII!

AC I think SWI's idea is quite a good one tbh.

Can you tell I've been on the wine?

Quodlibet · 01/06/2011 21:11

PS SWI for defs ring on their doorbell at 6am. I reckon they'll probably get bored of it once they get their enormous electricity bill through through.

ShaggingWithIntent · 01/06/2011 21:19

Hahaha!!!
There is also a very large TV box in their recycling pile too so I'm guessing that the allowance is substantial enough to afford the electricity bills (that or their parents pay anyway!!!)

Quod, wine time - nice!! Red, white or rosé??

AmandaCooper · 01/06/2011 22:03

It is a good plan and I shall implement it. What do I say though when he says as he always does (TMI I know!) "is it a safe time?"

ShaggingWithIntent · 01/06/2011 22:25

Ummmm hasn't thought of that. Can you have a few drinks, say yes then blame it on the wine?!? That makes me sound really devious doesn't it?

Maybe say "I don't know but I think so"

ShaggingWithIntent · 01/06/2011 22:27

I'm going friking mad symptom spotting here. Is it AF or implantation cramps? Why do I feel sick? Yet to resort to prodding of boobage bur surely it's only a matter of time!!!

See you all at 6:30!

AmandaCooper · 01/06/2011 22:48

It might be hard to get him drunk if it's midweek!

AmandaCooper · 02/06/2011 06:29

Ok I'm ready...

Grin
AmandaCooper · 02/06/2011 06:42
ShaggingWithIntent · 02/06/2011 07:18

Sorry. Couldn't drag myself out of bed. So tired!!!!

Drum roll please.......

ShaggingWithIntent · 02/06/2011 07:20

BFN!!!!
But temps still way above coverline this morning.

I had a dream I got a BFP, it was so vivid that when I woke up I thought it actually happened until I realized that I didn't have a HPT like that in the house..... :(

AmandaCooper · 02/06/2011 07:23

Rats! But it's still early and temps are still up! Same time tomorrow?

ShaggingWithIntent · 02/06/2011 07:38

I guess so, unless AF arrives early.....

AmandaCooper · 02/06/2011 07:49

Well I'm sorry it wasn't the result you wanted but all the signs are still good. My friend's AF was five days late before she got a BFP on a test.

bebejones · 02/06/2011 09:20

Oh bugger! Still early though SWI, not over yet! :) Still got FX crossed! Wink

DH just told me that it's DNephews 1st Birthday party on Saturday. He was v v prem & we all didn't think he would survive. So it's quite a milestone to say the least! I now have to go and find a present, last minute (which I hate) for a 1 year old baby boy with limited hearing & sight. No idea what I'm gonna get locally! But shall think of something!

Also hoping that MIL calls later to let me know that she is in, going to go & cut all the flower heads off their elderflower trees & make some yummy cordial!

Oh the exciting & glamourous life I lead! :o

ShaggingWithIntent · 02/06/2011 10:10

Yeah - FX!! Not really had the cramping I ususally get when AF is about to make an appearance so there is still a faint glimmer of hope..

All this postponement of the wedding is gettig incredibly stressful though. She's off to see him this weekend and hopefully they will sort it all out but I worry she'll hold a grudge and make a decision that she'll regret forever.......
