Oh no, Rosa! How is she now? Are you back to Italy? What do the docs say?
We've come back yesterday after a few days on the mountains. It was just glorious.
And today the sun is shining also on Milan, even Milan looks good in springy weather (and also no one's around, so air doesn't stink )

jealous of your mountain trips Franca- would love a few days out of the city. Although it is lovely here at the moment-spring seems to be definitely here. Any news Rosa?

We are back ... DD1 all better now thanks. She was discharged with a medcine for 2 days. So being a Mamma Italiana I gave it to her for 5 slowly reducing it. We still have no idea what it was . We did managed 5 days of a great holiday and some fun bits before she got ill.It was mainly in the afternoon that she got unwell.
The weather also dramitically improved as well so it made it all more fun ! We made it back without cases ( slowly arriving) but seeing as they held the plane in Madrid for us ( and 20 others) but it was too close to get the bags ! It means that the washing is being done in rate...
Roll on June for the month on the beach but its an apartment so cleaning , cooking etc !!!
ALso in panic mode as its DD1 birthday on Monday I hope Amazon gets here in time !!!

glad you're back ok Rosa and dd is ok now. And good that you had some nice weather. Today was properly warm. Seems unbelievable that there was snow a few weeks ago.

Good to hear DD got better Rosa and you managed to enjoy the rest of your hols. It was 20+ degrees here today, I had my windows wide open : )

DAre I say that minirosa vomited from 17.30 to 1am . Vomited Peridom Sciroppo and then managed to vomit with the supposte as well! Dh is wandering round saying 'ma cosa abbiamo fatto x avere tutto questo'... I am just praying - mind you that doesn't seem to have done any good either that DD1 doesn't get it esp as she might be weak in that area. It would break my heart for her if she was sick on her birthday as I have promised that she can have 2 friends over for tea..Party is the following sat .
Last bag arrived at 21.00 last night so its contents are being washed. Lovely day here as well. Have every bit of line space ( mine and the condomino ones as well !!) I sent dd to school in a cotton hat and bandana ...Oh dear black mark for me as they should still be wearing long pumini and wool hats etc.

No, Rosa, che sfiga!!!! Poor minirosa . I hope it doesn't catch and that dd1 is able to celebrate her birthday.

Very hot here today too... don't know what to wear really. Toda I think I'll take her to the park. Ds has calcio.

DD1 is 6 today ...God I feel ancient she was only a baby yesterday ! Took minirosa to paed oggi - she is over the worst but its taking her ages to get over it horrible virus....Have accepted you Franca on FB !

It's winter again here in Milan. Awful rainy day. But, I have been to see my chiropractor and I feel like a new woman !

I love Amazon , things arrived ok and she was quite happy we just got her some small things to be honest. Books , wii dancing game - guess what we will be doing after school ? She so wants the winx doll stella ... I asked a friend to get it for her on sat ( so we could give it to her )and then he said he will give it to her at her party ! Its turning colder here as well and I see that at the end of the week its going cold again 2-3 degrees. Nonna asked yesterday what she should get her after Dd1 had said nonna is buying me a Rapunzel bag . I very much hope she has gone shopping today so dd has it today . I am still waiting any form of card / gift for mine ....but I am 40+ ( shh) and don't give a toss but dd is 6 and bithdays are important !
Franca very pleased for your chiropractor I might suggest it for a friend she has constant headaches and neck / shoulder ache and it might do her good .

Yes, I think that a chiropractor can do wonders, but you need a trusted one, otherwise I think it can be dangerous. I go to the chiropractor my whole family goes to, so well trusted!

I am guessing dd saw it in the Disney store .....from the film Tangled-rapunzel a borsa of some kind with her picture on it. If she does get that then i hope its practical......!
Minirosa is so 'flat' she after coming back from the doc fell asleep on the sofa.she is awake and lying watching cartoons but not really interested. Been like this since febbre finished. Ok its only 2 days but yesterday she had bouts of enthusiasm......mind you she has asked me for a banana so thats something I guess . Agree with the chiropractor my mum has a great one it takes about 4 mths to get in the door and when you have your visit it is a case of book the next one or wait another 4 mths. Dh needs a good one but we haven't heard of one round here........

Ah, that Rapunzel, I see. It is a lovely movie, isn't it, I hope she gets the bag.
Poor minirosa, it is hard to recover after a stomach bug, ime.

Its non almost daily here since she was ill ...... Minirosa loves it and quotes bits which is a bit of a worry but she has a good memory!!! Right off to get the birthday girl

Nope she got a pair of knickers and a vest from tezenis and Euro100!
MInirosa sems to be getting slightly better and is eating DD1 birthday cake so I might have to make another before sat and sneak in carrots or something !

Not much she is only just 6 so really has only the concept of Euro2 ( from the tooth fairy) that she can buy a buistina of some crap from the edicola !!!

Exactly, that's what I thought. I wouldn't have been that impressed by 100E at 6 (would be rather happy now though!)

Might do - but she was given a rucksack with hearts on it which is rather lovely and might just do for piatti for scuola in settembre. I will play it by ear and see what she wants to do. Its about time she started to understand a bit about money .she knows that things don't grow on trees and she can't have all that she asks for . I will put it away and when there is something that she is desperate for now or in the future then it is there for that .

Party done, thankfully presents clothes and a few small things that she really likes. Sister gone back to the Uk today - sad but it was lovely having her here and the DDs really appreciated having her here... Now have to eat the left overs, put away the decorations for the next festa !!
