Hi ladies, sorry again for not posting in a while. I was travelling for work last week which is more tiring than usual whilst PG, but have finally got a day off and a chance to catch up.

Not too much to report here. We're in LO's 'most active' phase now (at 25+3 today), and he moves all the time now. I love feeling his sweet little kicks, punches, wriggles and twists, and occasional hiccups Smile According to DH, I have now developed a waddle. I guess it was bound to happen, but I was hoping it would be a bit later! I'm vigilant on stretch-mark watch, and so far, so good.

Bebe, how did your big catering event go? Your rose cupcakes are beautiful. I also love to bake, and will definitely be trying out your technique. How's potty training going? Sorry to hear about DH being uncooperative; I agree that the Gruffalo is in order.

MrsS, sorry your camping trip was so rubbish. Was the rest of your half-term break any better? Sorry also about AF. Try to stay positive; I really hope this will happen for you soon.

Quod, sorry about DH's change in attitude about TTC, but maybe a bit more time will help you to feel more confident about the decision? If it helps, it is a bit scary even for those of us who were sure they were ready.

WhyWait, happy belated birthday! I'm sorry so many things aren't going your way right now. I hope you get some good news on your course soon.

Squirrel, congrats on your scan and your very active LO! It must feel very real now!

Nannyl, congrats on your scan as well! You must be a bit relieved that there is only one baby this time. I hope that the second trimester is treating you a bit better than the first!

bebejones · 07/03/2011 15:30

MrsW - Re stretch marks: I had none appear until after DD was born Hmm...so be vigilant afterwards too!

Hope everyone is ok, it's so quiet here!

squirrel007 · 08/03/2011 19:39

Hi everyone! Work has been busy for the past couple of weeks, so not much chance to come on here and catch up!

strawberry how is the wedding planning going? And any pg symptoms yet? Hope you are managing to avoid the sickness still :)

mrsS have looked online for clothes, ebay is the best place for colourful stuff, but I have to admit to buying most of my maternity stuff new. Sounds like your DH is a good match :) DH and I tend to get wound up about different things so one of us is normally calm.

bebe sorry to hear the BIL problem is dragging on, seems a shame that no-one can do anything much. And grrr to your DH too, who shouldn't really be saying things like that when he knows you are keen for another. It's just really insensitive, even if that is how he's feeling right now.

whywait sorry to hear things aren't going well :( Although a belated happy birthday to you - hope you took the chance to go and celebrate :) How are you feeling now?

nannyl great news about the scan Grin it is so nice to be able to see the baby wriggling away when you can't feel anything yourself! Hope the sickness is easing off now too.

quod sorry to hear about your DH changing his mind again. Have you talked anymore?

mrsW I was travelling a couple of weeks ago too, I didn't realise just how much more tiring it'd be than usual! Do you have any more travel coming up?

Things are good with me, I'm a bit tired still (waiting for the promised 2nd trimester bloom...) and have decided to cut down the amount of stuff I've been doing so that I don't exhaust myself. Can't keep up with my pre-pg lifestyle! Work is busy and will be until the end of the month, but after that I think it'll calm down until i go on leave in June. I'm still feeling erratic baby movements - sometimes can go a day or two without feeling much though. Think if I'm busy at work or doing something else, I just don't notice. It's nice to feel the baby, but sometimes it's a bit tickly inside! Also got a proper bump too, which means I can wear maternity clothes with pride and not just look podgy.

Hope you're all well!

AmandaCooper · 09/03/2011 09:38

Good good my colleague is pregnant

OP posts:
JustShaggingForNow · 09/03/2011 11:16

Oh AC that SUCKS! Can't remember if you have a date set for TTC or not??

AmandaCooper · 09/03/2011 16:51

Good lord my boss's secretary is ALSO pregnant. Two on the same day, what's that about??

JS not anything definite, possibly July.

OP posts:
bebejones · 09/03/2011 18:37

AC - that is totally rubbish :( FX for July

My friend who had been having troubles has just had an early MC. It had taken them nearly 18months to conceive. I am gutted for her :(

Feeling all over the place at the moment. Maybe I'm coming down with something Hmm Just don't feel like 'me'!

AmandaCooper · 09/03/2011 19:59

Yes it is completely unacceptable lol. I joke but - and I know this is completely selfish of me - I couldn't help but worry about the impact it will have on me if she goes on maternity leave. There's so much work at the moment, even with a full team. It would be really hard if I was pregnant.

So sad to hear that about your friend, Bebe, she must be completely devastated.

mrswantstobeamum · 10/03/2011 09:29

Squirrel, I've got one more trip for work planned for April. It's just to France, so I don't have to fly or anything, but I always work like a dog during these trips, which is becoming difficult. DH and I have a few small trips planned within the UK before the baby comes, but that's different. Do you have any more travel planned? Regarding the second trimester "bloom", I have had much more energy than in the first trimester, but have never felt like I was blooming! Podgy and spotty is more like it. Now I'm just over a week away from the third trimester, so I guess the bloom has passed me by!

AC, sorry about your office. That must be difficult to be around when you're trying to sort out your own TTC plans.

Bebe, now I'm terrified of post-birth stretch-marks!

WYorksLass · 10/03/2011 09:43

There's a 2nd Trimester bloom? I wish it'd hurry up and start! I'm 16 weeks today and still feel ropey. I'm exhausted, nauseaous (sick twice this week, i thought it had stopped!), spotty, my excema has flared up and the worst; my Pelvis has started to give me real problems :(

Sorry, am feeling a bit sorry for myself at the minute. To try to put it all into perspective some friends had their 20 week scan last week and apparently it was very bad news. We don't know the details but we are gutted for them and very shaken up.

bebejones · 10/03/2011 16:37

I never had a 'bloom' either. I was still being very sick until just before my 20week scan! I felt at my best from about weeks 30-34 then I got too big & the weather got too hot!

MrsW - Apparently if you are very pale/fair you are more likely to get stretch marks Hmm

WYorks - Sorry you are still feeling crap & sorry to hear about your friends :(

MrsSatsuma · 10/03/2011 17:24

Goodness, I think we all need some chocolate cake [hands round big slices of cake and Brew to try to cheer everyone up]

AC - I know how you feel. The latest two at work both had 'accidents'. Hmph!!

WYorks - so sorry to hear about your friends. Is it something that affects whether the pregnancy can go ahead? I hope things work out for them.

Bebe - hope you're feeling better soon. Maybe you just need a break - you've had a lot of stress lately!

Have finally got appointment through for 'full' CBT. Haven't had a panic attack for a while although did feel on the verge last week, but managed to stave it off. DH says he feels a weight has been lifted as I seem to be coping with things much better. I feel guilty for the effect it has on him! Trying to keep it up for his sake!

AmandaCooper · 10/03/2011 20:58

Hi guys! I think you probably won't believe this - god knows I barely do - but there's another one! This one hasn't even started with us yet, she is working her notice in her current job. It's going to be pregnancy central.

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 10/03/2011 21:02

WYorks that's horrible news for your friend and it must be hard for you to support her in the circumstances. Having a baby is such a frightening thing isn't it.

OP posts:
bebejones · 10/03/2011 21:21

Blimey AC! Shock Do you work in the most fertile office in England?! How frustrating & probably upsetting fro you though. Hows your fluffy little bundle doing? Still treading poo everywhere?

MrsS - Good news about the CBT. :)

AmandaCooper · 10/03/2011 23:24

No he has mastered the litter tray!

OP posts:
bebejones · 11/03/2011 08:35

Aaaaah clever ball of fluff! :o

DD is poorly sick (conjunctivitis and a nasty cold) and has lovingly shared it with me! I feel crap! :( She is happily sat munching on chocolate spread on toast Envy & a banana so lets hope her happy mood continues!

JustShaggingForNow · 11/03/2011 10:21

OMG AC Where is this office and can I come for a meeting there in the hope that this super fertility rubs off? Alternatively you could bottle the tap water there and make a fortune selling it online!!

WYorks - how awful for your friends. I hope that they are ok.

100years · 11/03/2011 14:04

Hiya

Shuffles back in after a long absence.

How are we all doing?

Only read back a little way, and caught up from some replies to people.

AC sorry about the people in your office becoming pg, doesn't help when you aren't and feel like everyone else is, that's how I felt last year.

BB sorry about the cold and conjunctivitis, yukky stuff.

Wyorks, sorry to hear about your friends, can't imagine how that must feel. I too am not feeling the 2nd tri bloom, 15wks and 1 today, still shattered most of the bloody time!

Nanny, glad it's just one for you, and mine was very wriggly too, so that might go along to BB's wriggly pukey theory!

So much to reply to, I have been reading in here, just not posting.

Me, well 15wks1day, had super morning sickness the other day, which led to a migraine that put me off work (yet a-flippin-gain) thankfully it's gone now. I have a cyst in a personal place, that's not catching or of that nature, but it's flipping painful and annoying and slightly embarrassing. I've not bloomed yet, knackered much, sleeping for england at times, think I'll go have a nap in a minute. My stomach is actually smaller in size than it was, but so is everything else except the boobs that have gone from a FF to a HH! But that's because I've lost 2 stone since getting pg! It's not growing, but it feels firmer if that makes any sense. 16 week check with midwife next week, hoping she has a doppler so I can hear the heartbeat as they didn't play it at the scan. I've started wearing matty trousers, because my work trousers are too too big and fall down when I stand up, and I don't like trousers that don't have any give in them, so am much more comfy with stretchy belly trousers.

bebejones · 11/03/2011 14:30

Hello 100! :)

Where are the other ladies MIA?

JBells? Nannyl? Hope everyone is ok?

AmandaCooper · 11/03/2011 19:54

La de da one of the secretarial coordinators is pregnant too. This is like a mad joke. There are little bumps everywhere! On the plus side the partners were falling over themselves to buy me alcoholic drinks in the pub just now.

OP posts:
bebejones · 11/03/2011 20:16

Hahaha, are they trying to see if you'll decline their kind offer?! Wink Seriously you must be working in the most super fertile place ever!

squirrel007 · 11/03/2011 20:25

Amanda wow, is that 4 pregnancies in your office this week?! Shock

bebe and wyorks sorry about the sad news from your friends :(

mrsS thanks for the chocolate cake! Just what I need :) Glad you are coping better, and also have an appointment lined up.

100years sorry to hear you're still feeling rough :( Is it getting any better now?

AmandaCooper · 12/03/2011 08:31

Yes four I've found out about anyway, who knows how many more are lurking!

100years did you say you've lost 2 stone since getting pg? That's incredible!

OP posts:
100years · 12/03/2011 09:57

Oh AC, sorry there's another one!!! :( That's crap for you. Last year at one point the pg count at my work was about 12 and that wasn't including the people on matty leave, I'm not sure what it is at the moment. Yeah 2 stone, I did have a lot to lose pre pg, and had lost some, and I'm still in the 'obese' category, so 2 stone has kind of helped, hoping that if I put weight on, it will be no more than what I have lost then when I give birth I'll be slimmer than when I started!

Squirrel, I think it's off and on really, have a few good days, then go back to being ultra knackered.

bebe hi :)

Sorry if this is TMI, but the cyst burst in the night! It's MUCH less painful now, bleeding a little, but thankfully I can sit without too much discomfort.

I'm hoping that we get to go out for a walk later today, but there is a lot of stuff to do at home. Also tomorrow my OH has a 20mile race to do, so an early start then.
