11 days, so I'm well within the norm, it's been 12 before.

nannyl are you Superwoman in another life?! Grin

nannyl · 06/05/2011 19:43

I dont think so LOL Shock Blush Blush

well i had my good intentions.... i FAILED to listen to CD, move shelves & do my fileing, though did manage to carry fileing upstairs to office (ie out of kitchen)... but i moved the TV and unit thing back out of our bedrooom (no longer in bed half the day ill / waiitng to be well enough to move, so figured it can go back in the blue room!)
Managed home made pizza, with homemade tom and herb sauce (lots left fro freezer) & a chocolate cake though Grin

also spent far to long in the phone chatting to 2 of my best friends (Including friend who had baby)... con confirm she wasnt even sure if she was in labour when midwife arrived and she was 9cm dilated "it just didnt hurt that much at all"Shock ... and it wasnt even 10 hours from start to finish, 8 hours 36 mins to be exact!

AC enjoy the wine... [dreaming about a nice glass of chilled rose... mmmm ]

AmandaCooper · 07/05/2011 12:37

Nannyl if only we can all have childbirth experiences like your friend's! Did she do hypnobirthing as well? My friend said hypnobirthing did nothing fir the pain but really helped her deal with it mentally.

We've got an exciting week or so ahead with results from MrsS and SWI (and me, though I don't really count). Any symptoms, either of you?

I am shattered. Not sleepy - feel like somebody has sucked all the energy out of me. However my temperature is probably lower than it should be - see my chart. Not sure what to make of it (as per usual). Maybe I'm getting ill again!

AmandaCooper · 07/05/2011 17:00

Yes I see what you mean. It doesn't look too promising I have to say. Worryingly my temperatures are still elevated at 12 DPO. I've done two tests but it's still a bit early, I don't think they really pick much up until around 14 DPO. If I am pg at least we won't have to go through all the stress of trying. DH won't be impressed though at my "deception".

You do wonder if there's anything in this charting though don't you!

Hello Ladies.

Well I've had another headache this week :( Took 2 days off work with it as well. Thankfully it's gone now. :) Been doing some bits and bobs today and have booked sunday lunch out tomorrow at my OH's fave place to eat near us. My belly seems to be growing nicely :) And moving around a lot which is lovely. I think my weight may have increased by the grand total of 2lbs over the course of a few weeks Shock so got to watch it doesn't start piling on and I become a heffalump!!! :) FEw days off work now to chill out and do some stuff, although the weather has now turned and I don't think much will be done in the rain. Hey ho.

Been recently making the following biscuits, they are dead simple to make and very lovely. Get munched very quickly and I have to eat them within a few days to make sure I am left some, maybe this is why I have put on weight! I actually use twice the mixture but be warned 2 trays will be required for cooking if you double the mixture, and I also use plain white flour as opposed to wholemeal.

Hope the rest of you are all OK. Sorry this isn't a catch up post, been reading but had headache for 4 days, and so I thought I would just post and say hi again.

AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 02:24

I love the way this thread is half normal MN and half baking club! Sorry to hear about your headache 100years, are you feeling any better?

I am 13 DPO today. Never been this late in eleven months of charting. Feel completely normal but obsessing lots. DH was kissing me earlier and saying never mind if I am, this is how it needs to happen. He was drunk at the time though.

AF got me.

OP posts:
MrsSatsuma · 08/05/2011 08:41

Sorry AC. Our bodies do seem to know how to wind us up, don't they? How are you feeling?

Wish I could interpret my chart. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with swi! Just feeling ill again and would like to time it properly...

AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 09:53

It looks more or less how it's supposed to though MrsS, and I don't think those two little dips mean it's over by any means - your temps are still up and you have a clear red line for OV.

I can't wait to join you in ttc, a scare was exactly what I needed to make my mind up and of course I was desperate for a BFP when it came down to it. Don't feel obliged to wait for me though, your BFP is long overdue.

OP posts:
bebejones · 08/05/2011 10:26

For the bake club cakes I made yesterday! :)

AC - :( What a bummer that AF turned up! But at least you know now that TTC is what you want.

Mrs S -I know nothing about charts, but I will go along with AC, don't give up hope yet. Keeping everything crossed for you x

I do need to talk to DH, but he is going through mega stress at work & I feel bad bringing it up. Had a bit of a MS scare, but I think it's most likely [hopeful emoticon] that my glasses prescription needs updating as my eye has gone lazy again!! :( Feeling a bit disorientated! But really made me think that I need to have another baby before this stupid illness I have takes over my body & turns my world upside down. (If indeed it does...it might not...who knows?! Hmm)

AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 10:28

Oh god talk about our bodies winding us up! I don't have AF at all, not a trace of her this morning. It must have been just a small amount of spotting, which means I have to endure yet more of this madness!

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 10:29

Sorry Bebe I xposted there.

OP posts:
bebejones · 08/05/2011 10:32

Oh no! Get thee to a chemist & POAS!!

AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 10:36

My god those cakes look amazing, you are so talented Bebe. I presume you crafted the chocolate detail as well?

It's your DH who should be feeling guilty for refusing to talk about it, not the other way round. It might make him mad for a short while but isn't that just him being passive aggressive so you don't bring it up? If he decides the time and place for the discussion and sets a time limit, so he knows it can't go on indefinitely, then how can he object to a short discussion about the plans for your family?

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 10:38

I know! I already did my morning wee though!

OP posts:
100years · 08/05/2011 11:08

Hey AC, sorry you have more days of worrying about it. Don't worry too much about the morning wee, just don't get drinking a lot next time you need a wee POAS then, if you drink a lot it will dilute it. Or wait till tomorrow. Can recommend the first response tests. Headache has come back slightly today, think it's a sinus thing and sleeping with my head higher helped yesterday, last night I ditched the second pillow and have a headache today, so going to keep the second pillow for a while see if it makes a difference, it could just be co-incidental.

MrsS I found the process of taking temps got me all stressed and so stopped in the first month of doing it! I think if I hadn't got pg so quickly I would possibly be back doing it again and pacing the floor the whole time in between.

Bebe, they look lovely :) Well done. I hope you do get to speak to your DH. :(

AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 11:23

I was going to buy one from the supermarket but now DH has insisted on coming along so that plan's scuppered. I still have one of the cheapies I got from Home Bargains left but I don't think they are very sensitive. This is horrible!

OP posts:
100years · 08/05/2011 11:32

Oh AC :( don't know what to suggest

AmandaCooper · 08/05/2011 12:03

Well another BFN. The waiting game continues. Sad

OP posts:
bebejones · 08/05/2011 12:05

Do you have a chemist near by that might be open? I'm not sure I'd be able to wait! Do what 100 suggested & don't drink much & then pee on the cheapie!

And yes, I did do the chocolate! :) Plans are afoot for Toffee Apple cupcakes next week, watch this space!

Going to try talking to DH tonight. Have softened him up with scrummy food & treats & have been helping him with work!!
