I've already experimented with loads of temps for tomorrow, they all make the dashed line disappear! I should get AF in 4 days, but that will be too late for MAP if she doesn't arrive. Not sure I can take another MAP anyway.

Bebe I think a girly night is just what the doctor ordered for you! Will there be photos? You can't have a profile that's entirely about buns now, can you?! [mischievous]

OP posts:
bebejones · 15/04/2011 09:29

:o I like my buns!!

Quodlibet · 15/04/2011 10:03

Blimey AC your chart looks like a rollercoaster!
Personally I don't think you should worry DH, there's nothing he can do except freak out which won't be helpful. As you say chances are slim....And you did obey all the TCOYF rules...But I reckon there might be an outside possibility your ov got delayed because of stress - those 3 temps above the line have all got a white circle which means they're not your usual time and not as reliable, doesn't it? Are you sure the EWCM isn't a (ahem) product of the sex?! Surely the other way you could interpret the temps is that the low ones after OV are the anomaly and they should have stayed up?? I dunno, you know your cycle.
I'd be tempted to be very distracted by work and forget all about it if I were you...Wink
(I'm quite jealous of your crossed hairs by the way, I still haven't got any on 2nd month of charting)

100 that is SO EXCITING about your DH doing the marathon, I love the marathon and am really cross that I'm working on Sunday which means I can't go and cheer on complete strangers like we did last year.

Bebe have a brilliant weekend.

AmandaCooper · 15/04/2011 21:04

It is a bit mental! I didn't exactly obey the rules, there's no way we should have been NPP so close to ov - it wasn't even confirmed! Don't have any imaginary symptoms yet! Ho hum.

Not happy about the dashed line, I like it when I get a nice clear red one. This month is rubbish.

Oh bother it's up again. Oh well I am going to see my godson this morning so that will take my mind off things!

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 18/04/2011 07:01

Wow that was the quietest weekend on the thread ever! To update you, temps are now back to normal i.e. post OV low, and having re-read TCOYF there was never much chance of that pattern meaning pg. Someone who is pg though is my best friend - by just 10 weeks. I'm so excited - a new baby for me to snuggle!

My godson was lovely! He did have a proper meltdown at one point when we had to stop him from "washing up" as tea was ready. He's certainly got some strong feelings about personal autonomy!

AmandaCooper · 18/04/2011 07:04

Bebe how was the hen do? Pics?

100 years how is your niece doing? And how did DH get on in the marathon? It was a pretty warm day!

OP posts:
100years · 18/04/2011 07:29

Hi all. Just a quickie from my phone.

Thanks AC niece was discharged yesterday, hopefully had a good night and no dramas in the night, not had an early txt so I'm hoping that it's all good there. My OH was fab, heat got to him, but first mara and sub 5 hrs :) he has done it quicker in training so is quite disappointed, but I think it's ace. Baby was kicking last night and he managed to feel a kick, which is just fabulous. :)

bebejones · 18/04/2011 07:53

AC - How old is your Godson? DD is 2.8 & very prone to meltdowns if you stop her from doing something!! Hmm Glad chart is back to 'normal'!
I only have pics of other people from hen do as I was wielding the camera!! :o But I do have some beautiful pics of the special cupcakes I made (all 24 of them!!)

100 - Well done to your OH, that's a fab time for his first marathon! :) So nice to feel LO kicking! :)

DD missed me so much, which meant I got a lovely welcome home! Think DH has realised just how hard I 'work'! So have been missed all round & hope I will be more appreciated...Hmm

bebejones · 18/04/2011 07:54

Cupcakes can be seen here just scroll down a little bit!

AmandaCooper · 18/04/2011 07:55

I guess the real thing is very different from training. What an achievement, he must be thrilled.

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 18/04/2011 08:05

Naughty Bebe you were under strict instructions lol. What did you get up to then? Sounds like you had a much needed break.

Godson is very nearly two and so much fun. I'm all aches and pains though from playing with him in the park, picking him up etc using muscles I don't usually use. I need to get cracking with these babies before I'm too old and tired!

OP posts:
bebejones · 18/04/2011 08:27

It was all very civillised & nothing scandalous happened. Was mainly the Brides family & bridesmaids, she is going away in a couple of weeks with a group of her friends. I was very good and stuck to Spritzers, mainly coz I was feeling a bit squiffy after just one (very large) glass of wine & that was at about 2.30pm & there was no way I was going to last til food at 6 if I kept that up!!

Picking DD up has helped tone my arms! She's now just about 2 stone!

WYorksLass · 18/04/2011 09:09

Well done to your OH 100years. I did it 3 years ago and loved it. I would love to do it again one day. I think i've convinced DH we need a jogging buggy :)

It's great to feel the baby kicking isn't it? Mine seems to wriggle most of the time now. I got an almighty belt last night, i nearly jumped off my chair!

I had a bit of a scare on Friday. I was driving to work when i had a fluttering in my chest followed by a bit of a cough. I've had that to a lesser extent before but this time my vision went really odd. The world was blue tinged with big black spots in front of my eyes. It was very scary. DH ran to rescue me (i'd just dropped him at work 0.5 miles away) and took me to the doctors.
Fortunately the doc was not too concerned. He did some quick tests and said the fluttering/coughing was probably nothing (my heart is fine i've had tests before) and the vision thing is most likely a "pre-faint" due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. He said it was pretty normal in pregnancy and to go back if it happens again. I've never fainted before or had anything similar so was a bit scared. Anyway, the only cause for concern is that my blood pressure was actually high when he measured it so now they have to monitor it yet again. I have White Coat Hypertension where i get high readings at the soctors but normal on the 24 hour moniotor thingie.

So yet more time off this week as doctor told me to have the rest of the day off and relax. In the last 4 weeks i have only worked 1 full week

ShaggingWithIntent · 18/04/2011 10:08

Morning ladies!!
WYorks - thst sounds really horrible and sorry that you had a crappy Friday. On the plus side, Friday was quite a nice day to be off work :) I hope that you are feeling better this week and looking forward to the weekend!

Bebe so pleased that you had such a lovely weekend. The cupcakes look awesome and the rest of your photos (sorry, had to have a nosey!) are really beautiful. You have a real eye for nature photography. Grin

well done Mr 100years such a fantastic achievement to even finish it with the heat of yesterday, nevermind to go sub 5 hours! People keep asking me if I am going to do it next year but the fact that I am hoping to be either pregnant or a new mum aside, I just don't think I could run that far!!!

AC sorry to hear that your chart has been stressing you out. How irritating! I don't think I'd be any good at the whole TCOYF charting malarkey as I am a bit slapdash with things like that. It's hard enough for me to remember to POAS for my Persona 8 times each month!! (I am however getting lots of POAS practice through it!!! Grin

DH and I had a lovely weekend getting ready for our hols. I can't believe how fast it has gone and that this time next week we'll be sweating in 40 degree heat in India! Just 4 days in the office to get thorugh but it's lovely as my friend is back in and I had more conversation in the first 15 minutes at may desk this morning than I did in the whole of last week!!!

Quodlibet · 18/04/2011 10:33

Morning all!

100 well done your DH! That's a fantastic achievement, you must be so proud. Glad your niece is looking better too.

Bebe glad you had fun on the hen, and another caking triumph. Sweet that your little one missed you, it must make you feel more appreciated!

AC glad that chart panic is over.

*WYorks, sorry you've had that scare, look after yourself and take it easy.

Where's Nannyl and Jbells? Are you both OK?

Woke up this morning really stressed and cross with DH for no reason. Realised it's because he's got big meetings today and tomorrow to decide whether his work thing can go ahead in October as planned or whether it will have to be postponed yet again, and I feel really powerless as whatever gets decided will affect me massively as far as TTC is concerned, and I have no control in the issue. Think I'm just going to have to stay out of his way for a couple of days to avoid getting angry about it and making it all even more stressful.

nannyl · 18/04/2011 10:48

Morning all

So sorry, I keep coming and going.... I dont mean to 'go' I just keep beeing a busy bee, and not updating though i do keep mostly up with reading.

AC i had the 'perfect' pg chart the month before i got pg.... i mean it really really was, but i wasnt pg.

Well done Mr 100 for london marathon. What an achievement, i could barely run 26 meters. OH is a real runner and were discussing this weekend when he should aim to do the London marathon... i said when children were no longer babies and youngest a toddler... suggested 5 -6 years time when he will be 35 / 36 ish. My ex boss did it too and have just been watching her on bbc2 iplayer Smile. My exbosses also had proper running buggies which were also bike trailers, they had a single and a double and she kept up her running the whole time. (also keen cyclists, MB and DB)

OH and me had a wonderful weekend.... honestly our 1st wonderrful weekend together this year... I definitely dont have the energy i used to and with my sickness i have not been well enough to do anything major since being pg. On Sat we went to Sheffield. OH drove (his 1st big journey since passing test) and we did medowhall (all the baby / maternity shops etc) had lunch and then took train into sheffield city centre for john lewis baby dept, and also world snooker competition was on and we got in backgroun as bbc filmed the snookerty people (I have no clue who they were but OH did and was chuffed)
Yesturday pottered in our garden, then to MILs, took dog for a proper dog walk (OMG i was tired, dont know how i made it home, being pg definitley takes it all out of me!) and then there for tea. Came back and discussed babies / being parents / how many children OH thinks we will have, and age gaps etc etc. He thinks we will have 3. I think he's right, just hope to not have HG with number 2!

My sickness is decreasing to every other / 3rd day ish (though have vomited 3 times so far today, oh well, i dont feel like death anymore)

have started having wierd dreams.... dreamt last night my baby would NOT breast feed and only sleep, (slept 8 hours then i got paniced that baby would have no energy to feed) and that my boobs had no milk Sad, but then baby had some breast milk, as at that point in dream dreams suddenly made loads, and then baby vomited a load of formular (fed from an AVENT bottle!) was wierd / odd and i can still picture what my baby looked like in my dream. wonder if it will actually look like that?

Last weekend i was down south with my family which was lovely, but really missed oh, and on wed we are both going back down south for easter weekend. Cant wait 5.5 days just me and OH (and friends an family Smile)

Bebe, those cakes look fab Smile

waves to everyone else and hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful sunshine Smile

ShaggingWithIntent · 18/04/2011 13:37

Nannyl It sounds as though your lovely weekend together was long overdue and you really needed it. My family live near (ish) to Meadowhall so I spent a lot of time there as a teenager. It?s so convenient isn?t it?!?! Did you get some nice stuff form there and JL?

I hope that the HG is now on it?s way out and that the vomiting today hasn?t got any worse. It must be really awful for you adn I can?t even begin to imagine what it?s like. It?s so sweet that your DH is already thinking about numbers 2 and 3!

How strange about your dreams! I?ve had some odd ones recently, quite a few about babies ;) I wonder if your LO will look like the dream ? wouldn?t it be spooky if (s)he did?

Looking out of the (barred) windows of my office and wishing I was outside :( My friend came in today and mentioned that her DP has suggested she come off the pill so they can NPP. Would be hilarious if we were updiffed at the same time! The office would not know what to do :) On the work front I had a call on Thursday about a possible jon in Bath (which is my dream) but turns out they want someone to start now Hmm which rules me out. I hope that they struggle to find someone and then come to me :) FX!!!

bebejones · 18/04/2011 21:19

Thanks for all the nice comments bout my piccies/cakes! Photography is my hobby & I am throwing myself into it with gusto at the moment to try & take my mind off things!

Nannyl - that sounds like a really lovely weekend. :) When did your OH pass his test? Did I miss that? Blush

SWI - Glad your friend is back, can't believe you are off on your 'trip of a lifetime' so soon! That's come round so fast!!

Quod - How did your DHs meeting go?

My DH has had yet another crappy day. Was hoping that things would perk up this week & that over the long weekend we could have a chat! Not hopeful!! :(

nannyl · 18/04/2011 21:32

Hi bebe... he passed 1st week in March... Smile

but then i had HUGE issues with my stupid car insurance....it took LOTS of complaining and getting right up to the chief exec of RAC car insurance to sort.... (I got over £100 of good will gestures as a result of the crap they put us through), and then a few days later an unexpected bottle of champagne as an apology as well, so it was nearly 4 weeks before he could drive the car... (they were wrong, i was right but took a while to sort it all, during which time OH was not insured to drive GRRR)

and then 2 weekends ago i took the car down south with me, so it was his 1st long journey since passing.

Oh bebe, hope your DH's week gets better, and that you have 2 long weekends in a row for your chats.

bebejones · 19/04/2011 07:44

Had a good start to the day...DH actually managed to pay himself....only a week late! Hmm We can afford food again! Wink :o

It's already put him in a better mood! :)

Nannyl - That sounds like such a nightmare, I hate insurance companies! It's daylight robbery the amount the charge! And they always try & wriggle out of any claims! Grrrrrrr!

Have to ring the HV about DD today, really don't want to, but needs must! :( She is still asleep for the moment so I'm enjoying a moments peace!

Had the weirdest night. I swear I heard a baby crying, DH thinks I'm going mental! So now I'm not sure if I dreamt it or not! Hmm I thought it was next door, but they don't have a baby so I'm really not sure!! Confused

Quodlibet · 19/04/2011 09:38

Bebe is your DD still ill?

How weird about hearing a baby...

DP's meeting yesterday was a pre-meeting. Today his manager goes on the Big Meeting with the people who give the final nod. Which may yield some results one way or another or may just lead to more waiting (can you see a theme?!). The issue is that if they want to complete the never-ending project in October, they have to have the nod now to get all the prep/promotion done. I think I just have to accept that this is him having his 'baby', although am getting slightly annoyed that although we've talked about what the different possible outcomes might be from these meetings, he hasn't brought up how it might effect TTC, and I'm deliberately not bringing it up because I want it to come from him, IYSWIM? But I honestly don't think it's even on his radar despite the hours and hours we have spent talking about it and the sacrifices I am making by having TTC dependent on his project!

SWI - THREE DAYS IN THE OFFICE LEFT FOR YOU! (I'm jealous)

Jbells if you're reading come back and let us all know you're OK.

bebejones · 19/04/2011 10:10

Yes JBells please let us know how you are!

Quod - DD is ok now apart froma snotty nose & teething (Bloomin' back molars!! :() But I think she may have a slight squint. (History of it in the family) It's only vvvvvv slight & noticeable when she is exhausted or very poorly. But she should have been checked yonks ago (coz of history) and somehow slipped through the cracks! So have managed to get her a referral which should sort it out. I'll doubt they will do much unless it gets worse as it is so slight. I have it in both eyes but aparently my eye muscles 'control' it unless my MS affects it or I'm very drunk/tired! Hmm

How frustrating for you re the TTC issue. I know how you feel though. So many of DHs 'issues' with TTC are because of his work situation. There just never seems to be an end in sight. Every time we think there is light at the end of the tunnel it turns out to be an oncoming train!! Really hope that the end is in sight for you/your DH! :)

MrsSatsuma · 19/04/2011 12:08

Hi everyone, sorry can't write much as am feeling dreadful, but have enjoyed catching up reading after my week away! Can I just ask - I am 7dpo and I woke up this morning feeling awful: I hurt all over, and I feel really sick, and have a headache. Dragged myself in the shower and sat outside for abit then had to come in and lie down. I remember my mum saying she felt really ill when she was pregnant.... is there any chance at all or do I probably just have flu?! Am really annoyed at being ill in the holidays - again!!!

Quodlibet · 19/04/2011 15:12

MrsS, sorry you are feeling ill. TBH I would definitely be wondering the same thing if I were in your boat, 7dpo is implantation time isn't it? FX for you that it's that and not flu.
