Ooh, whywait, i'm so excited! I just bought cheapy test from ASDA, it was something like 2 for £4. It worked perfectly and gave the desired result!

MrsS, i'm afraid that i have indeed been off choccy for at least 3 months and i am definitely a chocoholic. I'm making up for it now though :)

bebejones · 22/03/2011 15:20

I think I used a Clearblue one (2 pack)...non digital ones!!

WW - keeping everything crossed for you! :)

squirrel007 · 22/03/2011 18:32

whywait am keeping all fingers and toes crossed for you :) can't remember which pg test I used, but it was in a pink box!

Amanda I've heard that cats can be trained with a water pistol!!

MrsSatsuma · 22/03/2011 20:09

oh squirrel I have bizarre images of you (not that I know what you look like!) chasing poor cats with water pistols now!!! :o

AmandaCooper · 22/03/2011 22:39

Heavens I'm not even allowed to look at him crossly, in case he gets upset!

Whywait this waiting is completely contrary to the sentiment for which you are named! I'm desperate for morning!!!

Hello all!
Wow what a lot Ive missed again

Firstly a big huge fat MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to WhyWait Smile YAY
How exciting, any idea of a due date yet?

strawberry Sorry you have been feeling so poorly, its so horrid isnt it, hope it passes for you soon and good luck with your scan. Good luck for wedding stuff

WYorks how exciting to be able to feel baby Smile i think i have felt mine the odd one off, but not sure, cant wait to feel it for sure. So sorry to read about your poor friend. and good luck for your 20 week scan, not long now Smile

AC I love reading about your little kitten and cant believe how everyone (almost) at your work is pg!

squirrel I spend half my live on ebay looking for baby bargains too, its great fun, especially when you win something for 1p (as i did on Sunday!)

MrsW... Wow cant believe you are 27 weeks already! are you all set yet? or still lots to do? When does ML start?

MrsS Sorry youve had some bad days, I hope the sunshine cheers you up.
Hope your body starts behaving soon. XX

bebe So sorry to hear DH is still dragging his feet. must be so so frustrating. Sad Pleased to here BIL is (probably?) home now. Hope he is ok.
Keep cooking yummy things Smile

I saw midwife on Friday and herd babies heart beat Smile Magic!
Am pretty big now and definitley look pg, even though only 15 weeks
I have got my biggest ebay bargain on my life "a brand new mountain buggy Urban, but one of the 'old' ones made in the New Zealand factory, where they quality was fab, rather than from the new factory in China. Never planned to by a buggy quite so early but this bargain was too good to miss. Have used so many buggies nannying and MB are one of my top favs!

Im still being sick pretty much everyday Sad. However the last 2 / 3 weeks have been so much better than the previous 6 / 7. Am now up and dressed most days, with just the odd few hours in bed poorly, rather in bed all the time with the odd few hours up.
Was supposed to be going down south for our annual family meal this weekend but not going anymore Sad. I just cant face a 5 hour drive by myself, esp if i start feeling really bad somewhere in the middle... and if i do too much (too much being not much at all) I seem to make myself even sicker... dont want to be stuck down south too sick to come home either!

Hoping to go down in 2 weeks time (and combine with the local NCT sale; have joined NCT so i can get in early!!!)

More exciting news... i dont know many people up here, but one of the teachers who i do know, and lives about 5 mins away, and is really lovely and we get on so well, well she has a 4 and a 2 year old and is pg and due about 6 weeks after me... so can hold my hand and introduce me at the local baby groups etc. She will stop teaching in July to be a stay at home mummy.

Anyway really hope i havent missed anyone, and hope everyone enjoys the beautful sunshine Smile

strawberrypie · 23/03/2011 10:01

When I heard about the sore nips I had a suspicion as that was the first symptom/change that I noticed! Wonderful!

Hi Nannyl- glad to hear you are starting to feel better but you have really had it rough. I have not bought anything for the baby, I have been looking but haven't dared buy anything yet! I will have to have alook at ebay though for bargains.

Can I ask a question....I know it is a bit early to be thinking about this but when do all you PG ladies plan to start your maternity leave? I want to try to work for a long as possible but am wondering if it will become too difficult when heavily PG.

WYorksLass · 23/03/2011 10:11

I'm due on 25th August and plan to finish work on 29th July. I know that it is quite early but i really want the time to relax, get stuff sorted etc. Also, it's the start of the school holidays which means i'll be able to do stuff with my mum and sister if i feel ok, they are both teachers.

But the main reason is that i really don't like my job anymore and can't wait to get out of here. I don't plan to come back, but shhh, i'm not telling them that as i may change my mind!
