Ha ha, already had Avon calling, one of dp's new colleagues sells Avon and has sent me all the catalogues. (am a bit of a catalogue whore actually) I wanted to go all nostalgic and would have bought some of the old perfume ranges I remember from my teen years and childhood but apart from Timeless they don't do any of them anymore.
My Mum still has tupperware containers from when she got married in 1965.
I'm also a new convert to Stanhome cleaning products, tupperware friend is also selling that, and I must say it's very good and the containers are very nice colours
Rosa, yes it's the new Delia- I got it from Book Depository- about £14 including delivery. It's good, in that it's a cookbook, and a Christmassy one...but it's not as gloriously food porny and house porny as Nigella IYSWIM? It's very frigidly Delia "put that there, move that here, half a teaspoon of oil, put it in a polythene bag" I almost imagine her yelling to Mr Delia in the boudoir "have you put it in a polythene bag?" before she lets him have a fiddle with her.
It's basically all the recipes she covered in the mini-Christmas series she did last year. She unabashedly says it's an update on her original Christmas book (which I don't have)
Some nice looking savoury pies and things I want to try, but unlike the Nigella book (where I want to try everything) with Delia I don't.
Franca, would you want the children to do an actual course?
