Well the Chinese was nice! Had duck in plum sauce. Ds2 has had it before so I tried it. (And crispy seaweed of course 😄) Got my prescriptions and the peas i forgot the other day. It's much nicer down in town than up where I am. Not so much wind and sunny. But sunny here now and wind has dropped again.
I had a look at the wall after what you said and I agree, never looked at it that way before. It was painted and fading before we came, it goes along the back of the raised area too. Never thought it looked good probably because that whole area is such a pigs ear, I hate it but cant do anything about it. But now I kinda like that small bit😄

Oooh my 'small' cactus is flowering too! It has tiny fuzzy 'flowers' 😄

Lovely little trip out to get what you needed @Thebookofcarolagain. Don't blame you having a takeaway . Duck in plum sauce is such a good choice, especially when DS2 had already tested it first 😁. And crispy seaweed is essential! 😋
Funny how a bit of sunshine and less wind lifts everything. And I like what you said about the wall too ,sometimes when you stop looking at the whole and just notice one bit, you see it differently. That weathered painted wall actually looks really pretty , it sets those pink flowers off a treat ❤️
Just opened all the windows and doors it's 26C inside and 24C outside 🥵😂.

I got the caramel 'magnums' @DirtyGertiefromno30 nice-ish but way too sweet for me. I am sure Ds1 will eat them ds2 isn't the worlds greatest ice cream/lolly fan. I will try the rasp lollies.
I am bored, swithtering on putting Skyrim on its been weeks!

The actual magnums are not as sweet and i have enjoyed them once in a blue moon @FridayNighFeeling i got the Aldi ones and they are really sweet. Shame.

Weather just the same sunny then cloudy, then sunny and wind is still here pah!
Had a lazy morning so far just pottering.
Looking for something different to do with mince for tea. Might try a meatball recipe i found on Good Food.
My Crystal Apple cucumber plant has a flower and more buds whoohoo. 😄

Shame about the Aldi Magnums @Thebookofcarolagain disappointing when they turn out too sweet. The real ones do seem much creamier.

Ds1's motherboard on his PC went phutt so got new one today and ds2 had to put it in for him. Ds1 still taking over kitchen putting the rest together he is not tech minded. Think he is on phone to his dad at the moment 😄
I am just gonna have rest of my Chinese if I get room to move!

Sounds like your kitchen turned into a computer repair shop @Thebookofcarolagain. Poor Ds1, typical timing for the motherboard to go kaput. Good job Ds2 could sort it, even if Ds1 still needed his Dad on the phone bless him hope it's soon sorted .
I don’t blame you giving up on the meatballs. Leftover Chinese sounds much easier if you can get room in the kitchen .

Yep you are right @DirtyGertiefromno30 and often the quest takes forever to do, fighting your way through a temple system, Deadras world can take hours!
Sunny here and wind has dropped. Been out dead heading and cutting back spent pink bells. There are tons of seedlings growing but I am leaving them, I would just make a mess trying to separate them and anyway as Toby said on Chelsea, plants growing check by jowl like they would do in nature is fine 😁😁
I am gonna give everything a feed once sun goes off the plants. Give them all a boost. That will take forever but needs must.
Gonna take ds2 down when he goes to work and get lemons and sugar. Had to go pick him up last night. He has a stonking cold/hay fever and was bushed. Need to get over the wall and get elderflower for the cordial at some point too.
Gotta pay road tax today, joy.

Oh am knackered! Have lugged a gazillion watering cans of plant food all round the garden and pots apart from the raised bit. That can wait till tomorrow. Brought washing in as there's def rain in the air. But its dry enough. We are predicted showers, dark clouds keep forming then passing. Still warn though despite breeze. I now need to wash kitchen floor as I did all the seedlings and veg outside and have brought them in so feed doesn't wash away if it rains and they dripped! Plus my mucky wellie boot prints 😄 I put my old polywhatsits into pots with used compost to see if maybe they would give a 2nd flush so fed them too. Ever hopeful! I must be mad!
Having a coffee before I do anything else.

Lugging all those watering cans round in warm muggy weather is hard work, but the plants will love you for it. And Toby is right , gardens do look happier when everything grows cheek by jowl 😁.
Had to laugh at the hopeful polywhatsits getting fed for a second flush 🤣. Aw your poor Ds2 sounds really wiped out. Hay fever and a cold together is miserable. Hopefully he feels much better soon bless him 💐. Those lemons & sugar & Elderflower made into cordial will be absolutely delicious 😋 🤤.
And of course road tax had to spoil the gardening mood 🙄.

Went to see Mum, who was marvellous there today thank God, l don't think that heat agreed with any of the residents you know poor things . I know Mum was like a different person there bless her . Came home and picked up a parcel from Vinted had crackers and cheese for dinner then off to Home Bargains and B&M with Dd2. Spent £60 in there l paid for the Dds and DH stuff . I treated them 🤗. Dh's miracle grow lawn feed was much cheaper in there than anywhere else.

Food food food seems to be such a topic of conversation we had meatballs last night and a BBQ today. I'm sure it'st the worst part of being mum/family organiser to decide what is for dinner for ever more!!!

Just made tea. Did meatballs in tomato sauce and pasta. What a faff! If I do it again I will have everything prepared first just to throw together! Tasts fine though. Maybe put the 2 tins of tomatoes in next time, one wasn't quite enough but I only used half the mince so thought it would be OK. (Or a smaller dish😄)
Never did rain blooming typical! 20° outside despite clouds!
Got my stuff at coop and sat by sea for 10 mins just to chill.
Have done a mountain of dishes and still fryingpans to do. The floor can bloody wait till tomorrow.
Think I need a glass of wine! 😉

Ah thank you @FridayNighFeelingMum was so funny today, my DH used to smoke and he told her he was going out for a fag and not to tell me because l would tell him off and the minute l walked in the room she told me 🤣. He gave up 30 years ago 🤣. I totally agree with you having to buy, prep , cook and serve then wash wipe and clean the kitchen sucks all the joy out of it 🙄
