20° and no rain after all that threatening is just typical isn’t it 🙄. Sitting by the sea for 10 minutes sounds perfect though, sometimes you just need that little pause to reset your brain.

Poor ds2 got called into work this morning as person just didn't show up, again! That means a split shift for him or even a double. 😡 At least the boss came and picked him up. He is still full of cold and hay fever, hope its not too busy.

That clearance steak pie for today sounds like a much easier yummy tasty plan! Aw your poor DS2. It's so unfair when people just don't show up and everyone else has to pick up the slack. Hopefully work isn't too busy and he gets through the shift OK. Being full of cold and hay fever is bad enough bless him. And look at you in shorts with the summer clothes out! You've definitely tempted fate now. If it snows tomorrow, we'll all know who to blame! 😆
Did a few bits here, cleaned the downstairs loo, bathroom and put the hoover over downstairs. Mum ok, sister visiting her today , nice day here sunny and bright not too hot , washing on the line second wash going out soon 😁. Cheese roll for din dins and a nice cuppa 😋 , sport on all day here heyho 🙄

Apart from dishes, sweepings and put a wash on i am avoiding housework as long as poss😁😁
Been out in garden dead heading blue and pink bells (left a couple for seeds, opps!) and putting branches in at my papavers, they take over! Did a bit of thinning out and weeding out front too. Too many self seeders! My other succulent seems to like its new home too. Too nice for housework! Might sweep up out back. Coffee first i think.
Hope you can just chill out and avoid all the sport.

Oh and my indoor succulent now has 7 flower stems 😁 Wow!

t to feed the little border on raised area. Need a little chair and kneel pad to get up there. Was filling can and I felt a drop or two....nah its from water hitting inside can......got up started watering...rain! Emptied it quick, had to get everything back inside, run get washing and get in! Bloody typical.
Been round shutting windows as its really went colder. Shorts off joggers on, coffee time😡

Oh no @Thebookofcarolagainthat’s so typical 😆 the minute you think it’s just a splash out of the can , the rain shows up and ruins it 😱! All that rushing around getting everything in, washing rescued, windows shut, and then straight into joggers.
I don’t blame you for being fed up at all 🙄. But you do know you should never have put those shorts on, you well and truly jinxed it. 🤣. At least you got everything sorted and you’re warm and dry now. Coffee time is definitely well deserved now enjoy ☕😊

Morning all.
I went and picked him up last night @DirtyGertiefromno30 he was knackered his legs just gave up😄 The guy did have a valid reason for not working. But ds is going in later today hopefully they will be quieter.
It was beautiful first thing (was raining at 2am when I woke up). I put all my plants outside. But now just had a small shower, have just left them, save me watering them! If it rains again I will bring them in.
Whoo hoo my last sowing of foxglove seeds are growing. Thank goodness, I need them to form rosettes so they flower next year.
Hope your mum is in a good mood .
