We have a water leak outside on the road right opposite us . I have reported it to the council and the water board . Neither of them are interested of course 🙄. I fell asleep earlier l had about an hour and now l am wide awake 🤣. Hope you have a better night 🤗.

I was browsing here earlier and there a thread on M&S good. Someone recommended thier GF flatbreads and GF oaty loaf isn't too bad apoarently. You could maybe try them although I am sure they arent cheap in there.

I have to eat my words @Thebookofcarolagain and say that the Welsh Water man came this morning and was absolutely lovely . Took it very seriously and listened to it with his instruments 🤣 and yes there is a leak ! Hes marked it up and he said they will be here next week 😱.
I can't quite believe it but apparently they get contractors in to do the work so fingers crossed 🤞 😁.
Another piece of good news Dd1 hasn't got Coeliacs disease thank God just have to wait 6 weeks for Dd2 to get tested . She naturally doesn't eat food with gluten in because she keeps off brrad cakes cereal and biscuits to maintain her weight so she has to eat gluten for 6 weeks before she can have her blood tested 🙄. Everything crossed 🤞.
It's been roasting here too. I don't blame you for feeling fed up with the heat @Thebookofcarolagain
The kids do make you laugh. Typical that you've got food to use up and they might decide they don't fancy it! Hopefully the mince goes down well tomorrow 😁
Thanks for the M&S tip as well. I'll definitely have a look at the gluten free flatbreads and oaty loaf. It's always useful to hear what's actually worth buying, even if M&S is a bit pricey.

Oh no, the wind sounds awful there. It’s so frustrating when the weather looks lovely but you can’t actually enjoy being outside because you’re battling against it. Hopefully it calms down later.
Cleaning the fridge sounds like a very sensible indoor job although not the most exciting one 😱😂. I am going to join you and clean ours in half an hour, going to have a cuppa and some fruit toast first 😁. Hope you find some forgotten treasures in there and not too many science experiments!

Bathroom done, fridge cleaned out. No bad surprises thankfully. Looks much better now even ds2 commented! 🤣

Done 2 loads of washing and put it away , cleaned the fridge freezers. Cleaned the food recycling bin 🤮 , hoovered downstairs and cleaned the bathroom and cooked another load of potatoes from the garden. Will have them later with gammon and peas yummy 😋.

Everything done, i remembered I bought frozen cinnamon swirls so had one after my chinese😄
Watered pots, borders can get done tomorrow. Cut poppy seed heads, my two sulking dahlias out front are finally producing buds! Yeah.😁 Have a couple of random flowers in pots out front from the seed packet. No idea what they are, they are small but lovely pops of colour.
Pjs on done for the day.

Got potatoes left from the second batch of rogue potatoes from the garden and going to have them with smoked haddock, parsley sauce , if l can have it if it's gf , and runner beans tonight . The rogue pots are delicious 😋 🤤.

Rained last pm, I didn't realise it was raining till ds2 came home wet. Sunny here now but wind is back with a vengence!
Its the "fishing" festival this weekend, hope they don't get seasick on the boat coming in and the stalls aren't blown away!
No big plans today. No idea what's going on in town. If wind drops i might go down later. Will have to walk as the big carpark is used for stalls, etc so there won't be a space anywhere in town.

Thought wind had dropped but nope it lulls you into a false sense of security then bamm whacks you with vigour!

Ooh lovely, more Aquilegia seeds 🌸 You’ll have a lovely little collection of them popping up next year @Thebookofcarolagain. They are such pretty flowers and seem to happily appear wherever they fancy 😁. Hopefully the wind leaves your seeds alone and doesn't send them halfway down the garden 😂

Ds2 asked for a lift to work, he didn't want to face all the crowds down the street. Stopped at garage so he could get a drink to take to work. He asked if I needed anything? I jokingly said no, well just 50lbs of Belgian and Swiss chocs in a presentation box😄 He knew I was joking i always say that.

He bought me a box of Lindor! I told him off cos now i will have to eat them then feel like a fat pig, and he said if you want choc you just need to say so, it makes people feel good not bad, behave! Oh they drive me mad sometimes, in the best poss way😁
Car thermometer says 26 ! It is hot in the sunshine i suppose but didn't think it was that hot!
Checked my pots out front as i came in, my other dahlia that was sulking has tiny buds now too.. I might get some kind of a show after all @DirtyGertiefromno30 😁

I cooked the mixed with carrots, peas and used ip the sausages in the ftudgr, put it on eafglws. Not too shabby. 😁 Of course I get most of the veg so need less mince😁
Dishes done, got a glass of wine and will have last lindor before 8😉 I really have had more than I should but they are soooo good.
Have a nice relaxing evening too.

Just had a cuppa and some gf oaties very nice. Nairns seem to be really excellent in their gf stuff l have to hand it to them .

Been slobbing on sofa. Accidently picked up all my potions in my drawer in my main house in Skyrim so decided sell all the excess ones, and there were lots! Bootled back and forth between towns and cities selling them all then realised I had also picked up all my ingredients so sold a load of them too. That drawer was a Tardis 😁😁
So many people tryjng to kill you on the road very annoying. 🤣
