Anyone else miss the old gigs thread and have concerts planned?

Didn't there used to be a Gigs thread?

Anyway, just sorted tickets etc for Masta Ace + Live Band (!) at the Jazz Cafe nexrt month. Very excited about that! No late-night train to get home from Euston, sadly, means an overnight London stay, though. Resigning myself to being the oldest in the audience by some distance 😃, but I can live with that.

That sounds amazing. I saw INK in December and they were awesome. I've got Korn next month, and INK again in March plus Slipknot in July next year I think. Love Electric Callboy, I bet they put on a proper show. Enjoy!

DH and I went to the Dominik Diamond show earlier this week. It’s definitely more comedy than music, we weren’t sure exactly what it would be like in that way. But it was really funny for anyone who remembers older computer games (he did songs about Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Mario, Sonic, Altered Beast and GTA). DH wasn’t sure if he wanted to go but he was very glad he did in the end.

Seeing soul 2 soul with simply red next summer. Really excited.

From this time last year I have seen The Psychadelic Furs, The Darkness, Ash, Gary Numan, Yungblud, The Damned. Everyone of those was amazing. Going to see The Damned, Ash & The Darkness again and a band from Cambridge called Ezio. Not got too many gigs lined up for next year as having bunion done in January so need 6 weeks off my feet. Have tickets for John Lydon Q&A event and going to see Francis Rossi with husband (not really my thing but will give most musicians a go).

Liz Stringer has cancelled but we now have tickets for Cock Robin next year
