Having come across some v misogynistic attitudes across social media on heavy metal boards I thought I would start a thread were is women fans of all things hard and heavy could hang out, feel free to say hi.

Mr Big is who we went for.
Jared James Nichols was great.

The last international impressed me.
The Commoners were a discovery if you like The Black Crowes they're very similar.

Anyone thinking of going to see Ghost next year?

Not much into Ghost, but I'm going to see Heilung and Opeth next year. Can't wait.

Fantastic. Where are you seeing them. I’ve got Deep Purple next month and two maiden gigs next year so far. But bloody hell getting maiden tickets was a nightmare

Yes! We have standing (mildly) VIP tickets for London. I am beyond excited (and this appears to be the push I needed to sort out my fitness, so I can jump up and down for a whole gig. Who knew?)

Went to see Deep Purple last night in Manchester. Was great to see the classics finally live.

Are people having difficulty getting tickets these days? Tried to get Ghost tickets on pre release. Literally all sold out apart from ridiculous hotel packages. Then looked a couple of days later and tickets miraculously available still being sold by ticketscalper at 50% higher price aaarhhh

When are they releasing the line up?

I tried to get tickets for DD for Christmas to see...I dunno, some shite for teenagers.

Anyway - tickets are £180 EACH on Ticketmaster. And we'd need two because she's 14, so I'd have to go too.

Absolutely ridiculous; so many gigs are unaffordable now.

That said, I've been/am going to 5 gigs in as many months and none of them have cost more than £50 for the ticket.

Yeah, it’s bizarre isn’t it, my Bruce Dickinson tickets were I think £45 each earlier this year., my Maiden tickets for next year around the £100 mark. Think £80 for snow patrol. I’m not sure why prices are so all over the place.

I was shocked last night so many empty seats at Deep Purple.
