Was never a fan back in the day, but enjoyed the popular songs. However recently I’ve discovered Pictures of You and what a beautiful song it is !
Any more I need to try ?

17 Seconds was always my favourite, and A Forest.

AlisonDonut · 02/09/2022 18:34

Primary.

Lullaby

DesMoulinsRouge · 02/09/2022 18:48

I adore Lovecats. Hand in hand is the only way to land.

In fact, anything. Love them

Try the Disintegration album if you like Pictures of You, absolutely one of the most beautiful albums I've ever listened to.

Badger1970 · 02/09/2022 19:10

I find I have to be in the mood, but there's just something very magical about their songs. They've endured well.

PoorMegHopkins · 02/09/2022 19:11

They are amazing live as well. Also, agree Disintegration is an exceptional album.

kindlyensure · 02/09/2022 19:14

You will like The Caterpillar

Tayegete · 02/09/2022 19:15

I came on to say Disintegration as well - such an amazing album.

LadyCampanulaTottington · 02/09/2022 19:15

A Letter To Elise is my favourite

Podgedodge · 02/09/2022 19:18

Catch. Lovely song.

Jellykat · 02/09/2022 19:18

100% agree with Love Cats, Lullaby, Boys don't cry and The Caterpillar in particular, but all are fab!

Nadal · 02/09/2022 19:19

Always a fan. Had various favourites over the years but more lately, I love Catch.

wheresmyshoe · 02/09/2022 19:19

Love all the suggestions and adding Charlotte Sometimes

Violetparis · 02/09/2022 19:20

I love the song Just Like Heaven.

TrobadoraBeatrice · 02/09/2022 19:23

I wouldn't call myself a huge fan (though I did go and see them at G-Mex in 1992), but they have many more big hits in their back catalogue than you'd think! Their 2019 Glastonbury set was brilliant, it's on YouTube and worth a watch.

DeadButDelicious · 02/09/2022 19:25

Disintegration is the best album ever.

Closely followed by The Head On The Door.

ShirleyJackson · 02/09/2022 19:26

The whole Disintegration album from start to finish. Soul-stirring.

ShirleyJackson · 02/09/2022 19:27

Even thinking about the opening chords of that album gives me goosebumps. We’re going to see them in December and I can’t wait.

TwoMonthsOff · 02/09/2022 19:30

‘Mixed Up’ is also a great album
probaly for completists but it put a new slant on some of their classic songs and some great producers were involved i still listen to it now

saw them live at the Albert Hall for sound waves for green peace (im old !) and at Glastonbury 86/87 maybe ?
have all their ‘albums’ on vinyl still

ShirleyJackson · 02/09/2022 19:31

Wish is a poppier album, but still great. Trust and The Edge of the Deep Green Sea are two of my favourites.

Nadal · 02/09/2022 19:32

Forgot Lovesong. Just beautiful.

And a more recent one, alt.end. Punchy

ShirleyJackson · 02/09/2022 19:34

Ooh, Catch! I forgot about that song. I adore it.

I need to go and listen to the Cure now.
