Music that makes you cry when you just think about it, let alone listen to it?

Mine is the theme tune to the 70s tv series Black Beauty. The closing credits with the black horse galloping through the wheat field.

Sheesh, I am getting all silly just typing that.

I would definitely cry if I were to see/hear it.

Jupiter from Holst's the Planets suite. Firstly, it's an amazingly beautiful, stirring piece if music in its own right. Secondly, for me now, in my head, it's come to be associated with England, the UK, my country, home. I no longer live there. When I hear this music it makes me miss the UK so much. But there is a strength and pride in it too...in short, I am welling up just thinking about it...

REM everybody hurts.

Heard it a few months after my cousins suicide and bawled. Hate listening to it since.

Angel by Sarah mclaclan I had to arrange a friend's funeral and they played this song

The alternative Eastenders theme tune that plays at the end after a character has died/left.

Was the last tune played at the funeral of my most beautiful, sorely missed and so completely loved favourite relative.

Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life....
A very lovely man I knew died of bowel cancer and it was played at his funeral as his coffin went out... The Entertainer gets me too as it was what he came in to.
Auld Lang Syne - my Nanna died when I was eight, so I only have a few memories of her but I know she loved the song.
Abide With Me - too many funerals. Hmm

Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins always gets me.

DS aged 4 had tears in his eyes when we were listening to Dolly Parton 'I will always love you' yesterday. Bless him! Had to turn it off before he started bawling.

I also find the theme from the film "champions", which was also used by the BBC as the theme to their coverage of the grand national for years, very moving.

Chemo Limo by Regina Spektor.
