What's everyone else up to?

Still recovering from the spectacle of the Sufjan Stevens gig on thursday night. Amazing.

Queens of the Stone Age next month. Foo Fighters and Reading Festival in the summer.

I've seen Everything Everything and Suede in the last couple of weeks. Brilliant gigs, both of them.

So jealous about those going to Green Man festival. I went there year before last. Thinking of taking DD there next year - she will be 19mo.

In the next month I am looking forward to belle and Sebastian and roger waters the wall!

ooh where are you seeing Belle & Sebastian? i'll be seeing them in Leeds, looking forward to it, their show last year with the orchestra was amazing.

Also seeing them in Leeds! For the first time too, can't wait!

sweetuphoria did you enjoy the gig? We were right up at the top of the balcony. Was so pleased they played Le Pastie de la Bourgeosie, but it was all top notch as always. I preferred the orchestra gig last year but this was still great. I ended up going with a friend who'd never heard them before (!) but I think she was won over.

Saw Phosphorescent the other night too. He (country) rocked!

well after really heavy rain in the morning it was a beautiful afternoon - the support groups and paul weller were fab but KOL were fantastic!!! - anyone else go??

We were there on Saturday night and were wondering if they'd use the same people at the Sunday gig.

CaveMum they had John Paul Jones and Seasick Steve - were great fun. Oh and Bob Mould.

They were amazing, and really funny too!
They had Roger Taylor and Alice Cooper on Saturday night, plus Bob Mould.

Better not tell DH who he missed! I would happily have paid to go two nights running if I could have got tickets.

I saw Erasure in Delamere forest last week they were b-rilliant, just as good as the last time I saw them about 20yrs ago

Now if you've ssen any of my music threads you will no I am a rock and metal girl but I have treated DS1 to this gig and he asked me to go.

I'm still excited about seeing Joe Bonamassa in October.

Very excited about seeing the re-formed original line-up of The Jayhawks in Manchester next week. Although the fact that it's 20 years since I first saw them makes me feel very, very old...
