Wish I could get out to see more live music, but money (lack of it) tells me otherwise

at Arcade Fire and I am Arrows. Also Ocean Colour Scene, saw them back in 90s too. Fab.

Yes, I'd take them to a festival, one of the smaller ones for our first time. Didn't make it to any this year

Lyra and the muse mob have you received your Muse Wembley tickets yet? According to my son I ordered him one for his birthday but I can find no trace of email confirmation. I have the horrible feeling that I forgot to do order the ticket

I saw Skunk Anansie at the Wolves Civic last winter and they were ace, would recommend them

Well no wonder you haven't got into them from that. It's a collection of b-sides and live tracks. Not for the uninitiated. I suggest you start with a proper studio album. Absolution is in my opinion their best but it depends what you like. Heavy, melodic, symphonic, Spanish-guitarish, Muse do the full range.
